FATIGU TEST AND PARAMETRIC STUDY OF CRACKED STEEL PLATES REPAIRED BY CFRP by WU XiZhi, CHENG JunSheng, YANG Yu, HUANG Yi

    Published 2017-01-01
“…At the thin steel plates running a period, cracks may occur at the material or weld, and traditional repair methods aren’t suitable for cracks repair of the thin steel plates. But the method of drilling hole at the crack tip and pasting CFRP on the steel plates is a choice for crack repair.Firstly, through five groups of fatigue test,it analyzed the effect of the crack fatigue life of the hole joint CFRP reinforcement and the other methods. Then, based on the cohesive force theory,it established the finite element model of notch steel plate reinforced with CFRP.With the finite element model,it studied the repair parameters of the stiffness, length and width of CFRP.The results demonstrate that the remaining fatigue life of the hole joint CFRP reinforcement is better than drilling holes or pasting CFRP,and even more than the steel plate with no crack. So it is especially suitable for the thin-wall steel plate with short cracks.…”

Advancement of Scale Inhibition Technology Research in the Process of Evaporating and Concentrating High Calcium and Magnesium Wastewater by YANG Xing, LUO Pingkai, HU Zhiyong, PAN Qiwen, BAI Ruyu, ZHANG Pengqing

    Published 2024-12-01
“…In recent years, achieving “near zero emissions” of high salt drilling and production wastewater in oil and gas fields has become the primary approach for its treatment, aiming to protect the environment while enabling resource recovery and reuse.Evaporation and concentration, as a common method for brine separation, may cause scaling on heat transfer surfaces during the evaporation process, due to the presence of various impurity salts in the wastewater.Hence, how to effectively prevent scaling and improve evaporation efficiency has become a research focus in the industry.Herein, this paper reviewed the technological advancements in calcium and magnesium scaling prevention at home and abroad from three perspectives: physical processes, coating materials and chemical antiscaling methods. The underlying mechanisms and current challenges were summarized and analyzed.Furthermore, the development direction of scale inhibition technology was prospected, and research ideas for efficient scale inhibition in the future were provided.…”
