Design method of energy efficiency optimization in PLC-RF wireless transmission networks
Published 2023-04-01“…An energy efficiency optimization transmission scheme using angular information-based channel state information (AI-CSI) was proposed for indoor communications, which integrated the power line communication (PLC) with radio frequency (RF) wireless communication.Specifically, by considering that the Wi-Fi wireless network and the PLC network were the primary and secondary networks, an optimization problem was established to maximize the total energy efficiency of the secondary network. Then, in order to solve the problem, the beam forming weight vector was obtained by using zero-forcing method based on AI-CSI, and an optimization algorithm joint Dinkelbach with Lagrange multiplier was further presented to achieve the optimal power allocation. Finally, computer simulations were given to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed scheme.Besides, the influence of key parameters such as the number of employed antennas and served users was also analyzed.…”

Research and evaluation of sparse array for massive MIMO
Published 2021-09-01“…Massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) enables higher spectrum efficiency by deploying a large number of antenna elements. However, mMIMO will bring a substantial increase in the number of radio frequency (RF) channel, which will result in a sharp increase in cost. Therefore, it is necessary to design mMIMO with comprehensive consideration of the trade-off between the performance and the cost.Sparse array technology can approach the performance of the uniform array with less number of antenna elements by optimizing the position distribution and excitation amplitudes of the antenna elements, thereby reducing the number of RF channels and controlling the cost, and achieving a better cost-effective balance. Both link-level and system-level evaluations and analysis of sparse array based mMIMO that targets for 6G were performed under realistic simulation settings. The results show that with little performance loss, the sparse array based mMIMO can significantly reduce the number of antenna elements and the cost of base station infrastructure.…”

UHF RFID anti-collision algorithm based on blind separation and dynamic bit-slot grouping
Published 2012-04-01“…A novel ultra high frequency(UHF)radio frequency identification(RFID)anti-collision algorithm based on independent components analysis(ICA)and dynamic bit-slot grouping technology was proposed. The ICA algorithm was used for identifying several tags simultaneously. The dynamic bit-slot tags grouping technology was used for ensuring the number of tags read by a reader at the same time was less than or equal to its antennas’number, and enabling the ICA wouldn’t work in an underdetermined state.Theoretical analysis and simulated experimental results show that the tags identification rate of the proposed algorithm is far more than that of traditional stochastic or deterministic TDMA RFID anti-collision algorithms.…”
