Robust DWT-HMM image watermarking algorithm optimized with content-adaptive approach by WANG Chun-tao1, NI Jiang-qun1, HUANG Ji-wu1, ZHANG Rong-yue1, LUO Xi-zhang1

    Published 2007-01-01
“…A robust watermarking algorithm based on content-adaptive approach was proposed to optimize the tradeoff between robustness and imperceptibility, which was characterized as follows: the entropy masking proposed by Watson etc.was constructed in wavelet domain, which was then used to constitute the integrated HVS model;three different measures, namely, energy, entropy and integrated HVS,for content-adaptive selection were constructed and investigated;repeat-accumulate(RA) code with erasure and error correction was used to tackle the synchronization issue of the exact positions for watermark embedding;and a posteriori DWT-HMM detector was utilized for watermark detection.Simula-tion results show that the proposed content-adaptive watermarking algorithm, under the same imperceptibility, has con-siderable improvement in robustness performance over the traditional one with stochastic approach.…”

Hurst and priority adaptive RED combined with dynamic scheduling algorithm based on AOS by Yu-xia BIE, Cheng-sheng PAN, Hai-yan LIU, Yan-chun WANG

    Published 2012-10-01
“…In order to efficiently transmit different types of high-capacity and burst data, based on virtual channel multiplexing technology on advanced orbiting systems(AOS),a Hurst and priority adaptive random early detection(RED) combined with dynamic scheduling algorithm named HPRED-DS was proposed. In queue management state, the algorithm designed an adaptive two-level packet dropping strategy based on Hurst parameter and priority. In virtual channel scheduling state,a VIP,synchronous and asynchronous mixed virtual channels scheduling mode was designed.Meanwhile, the algorithm efficiently combined queue management and virtual channel scheduling.Experimental results show that on the basis of maintaining high treatment efficiency and throughput, the algorithm stabilizes queue length, reduces delay and delay jitter, can meet various services’transmitting requirement.…”

Railway safety monitoring algorithm based on distributed optical fiber vibration sensor by Fuyang CHEN, Bin JIANG, Yu SHA

    Published 2020-09-01
“…Aiming at the monitoring problem of the human climbing behaviour existing along the railway,a railway safety detection algorithm based on distributed optical fiber vibration sensors was proposed by combining the distributed optical fiber sensing technology and signal analysis technology. The surrounding vibration was sensed and transmitted through the optical cables laid along the fence network of the railway, and then the Internet of things (IoT) connection between the railway and monitoring algorithm was built to realize the intelligent monitoring of the climbing behavior. In view of the complicated surrounding environment of the railway and more interference, the Hamming window and wavelet threshold denoising method were used to filter the signal of each frame to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the vibration signal. In the selection of features, the power spectrum and short-time over-level rate of the signal were extracted from the time domain and frequency domain respectively as a joint feature to determine whether there was climbing or creeping behavior.Since that the climbing behavior was spatially continuous, the minimum alarm range was set to filter out alarms with a too small range, which improved the accuracy of the monitoring system.…”
