Application of Grey Self-Memory Model Based on Smoothing Method Without Seasonal Fluctuations on Monthly Runoff Forecast by WAN Yang, YANG Haiyan, TANG Jingjing

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Affected by the monsoon climate, there are abrupt changes,non-smoothing and variation in monthly runoff. However, good accuracy cannot be realized if the monthly runoff is simulated and predicted directly by the gray self-memory model. This paper proposes a new monthly runoff smoothing method (that is,smoothing method without seasonal fluctuations).First, the seasonal index is used to remove the “seasonal fluctuations” of monthly runoff, then, the three-point smoothing method is applied to smooth the monthly runoff without seasonal fluctuations, and finally the gray self-memory model is adopted to simulate and predict the smoothed data. After being applied to the Yanling Hydrological Station in Hunan Province, the results show that the average error of fitting and forecasting value of monthly runoff after seasonal fluctuation removing and smoothing is less than 20% compared with the measured value. At the same time, the short-term monthly runoff data is used to simulate and forecast monthly runoff by this method, which also meets the requirements of the specification.…”

Numerical Simulation,Prediction and Analysis of Pollutants Transport Based on VM-MT3D by WANG Chengwen

    Published 2020-01-01
“…The research on numerical simulation of groundwater solute transport is practical significance for the protection and utilization of groundwater resources. This paper simulates and predicts the groundwater solute (that is,NH3-N) leakage concentration in the study area, and analyzes the pollution concentration process of leakage treatment station and its downstream factory area.It is found that the farthest influence distance of NH3-N pollution plume is 496.2 m,and the range of pollution plume is 36 800 m2.In addition,it takes about 7.4 years and 14.8 years for the leakage treatment station and its downstream factory area to reach groundwater class III standard limit, respectively. Finally, after verifying and identifying the groundwater solute transport model,it is found that the difference between the simulating water level by model and the actual water level is 0 m to 1.2 m.Therefore, with small water level error, the accuracy requirements of simulation and prediction are satisfied.…”
