Application of IoT technology in the prevention of geological hazard
Published 2018-09-01“…A system of on-line monitoring,warning,command and dispatch of geological hazard based on the IoT was presented,which was based on the practice of the China Mobile IoT Company on-line monitoring and warning project of geological hazard,and the preventing techniques of geological hazard at home and abroad.The system mainly consisted of four links:online automatic monitoring,geological disaster warning,command and decision-making,rescue scheduling.The system could monitor the geological hazards for 24 hours uninterruptedly,automatically finding the anomaly of the geological hazard points and alarm automatically when abnormal state of the hidden danger points was found.Through the intelligent data analysis,the system could help commanders make the scientific decision quickly; through the IoT label on the rescue personnel,equipment and materials,the system could show them on the map in real time to help commanders dispatch rescue forces to arrive at the scene as soon as possible.Finally,several key technology applications of geological hazard preventing system were prospected.…”

Application scenarios and difficulties in network construction of digital mines in cement industry based on 5G
Published 2021-07-01“…The application and development of 5G in the field of cement mining has drawn attention.Cement factories, usually built around limestone mines, in which 5G network shows great value to be used for safe inspection by drones, UAV 3D modeling of mines, unmanned driving and remote control of mining vehicles, of excavators and other mobile services.Firstly, the main business scenarios and network requirements of 5G in cement industry mines was analyzed.Secondly, via the analysis of practical cases and test data of 5G cement mine network deployment, the difficulty of 5G network coverage in mines lies in the poor coverage rate and signal strength of 5G network in limestone mines, which are due to mountain shielding effect mined by hillside terraced fields.Finally, the difficulties of 5G mine network coverage were summarized from the aspects of supporting facilities, planning simulation and environmental dynamic change, and preliminary suggestions were given correspondingly.…”

Published 2020-12-01“…The adaptive bit rate (ABR) algorithm has become the focus research in video transmission.However,due to the characteristics of 5G wireless heterogeneous networks,such as large fluctuation of channel bandwidth and obvious differences between different networks,the adaptive video stream transmission with multi-terminal cooperation was faced with great challenges.An adaptive video stream transmission control method based on deep reinforcement learning was proposed.First of all,a video stream dynamic programming model was established to jointly optimize the transmission rate and diversion strategy.Since the solution of this optimization problem depended on accurate channel estimation,dynamically changing channel state was difficult to achieve.Therefore,the dynamic programming problem was improved to reinforcement learning task,and the A3C algorithm was used to dynamically determine the video bit rate and diversion strategy.Finally,the simulation was carried out according to the measured network data,and compared with the traditional optimization method,the method proposed better improved the user QoE.…”
