Prevalence and risk factors for Sick Building Syndrome among Italian correctional officers: A pilot study
Published 2017-03-01“…COs reported that their health had been affected by the passive smoking (β = 2.34, P < .05) and unpleasant odour (β = 2.51, P < .05) as environmental risk factors; work-family conflict (β = 2.14, P < .05), psychological and physical isolation (β = 2.07, P < .05), and negative public image (β = 2.06, P < .05) as psychosocial risk factors. Finally, atopy (β = 2.02, P < .05) and to be current smoker (β = 2.02, P < .05) were statistically significant behavioral predictors of SBS among correctional officers. …”

UBE2T/CDC42/CD276 signaling axis mediates brain metastasis of triple-negative breast cancer via lysosomal autophagy
Published 2025-02-01“…Mechanistically, UBE2T directly interacts with CDC42, promoting its K48-linked polyubiquitination and proteasomal degradation, thereby inhibiting CDC42 from degrading CD276 via the autophagy-lysosomal pathway, indirectly upregulating CD276 and thereby impairing the CD8+ T cells function, ultimately mediating tumor immune escape and BrM. Finally, animal experimental results also showed that inhibition of UBE2T elevated the TNBC sensitivity to immune checkpoint CD276 blockade and inhibited BrM of TNBC.Conclusions In conclusion, our results indicate a new mechanism whereby UBE2T-mediated ubiquitination positively controls the UBE2T/CDC42/CD276 axis to upregulate tumor cell expression of CD276 and thereby impair CD8+ T cells function, ultimately leading to tumor cell immune escape and BrM.…”

Published 2025-01-01“…We furthermore provide evidence that Pm60 outperforms Pm60a and Pm60b through more efficient recognition of AvrPm60 effectors, suggesting it should be prioritized for wheat breeding. Finally, we show that virulence towards Pm60 is caused by simultaneous deletion of all AvrPm60 gene paralogs and that isolates lacking AvrPm60 are especially prevalent in the US thereby limiting the potential of Pm60 in this region. …”
