In silico identification of switching nodes in metabolic networks
Published 2024-10-01“…In P. tricornutum, we show that Erythrose 4-phosphate is an important switch metabolite for mixotrophy suggesting the importance of this metabolite in the non-oxidative pentose phosphate pathway to orchestrate the flux variations between glycolysis, the Calvin cycle and the oxidative pentose phosphate pathway when the trophic mode changes. Finally, a comparison between ISIS and reporter metabolites identified with transcriptomic data confirms the key role of metabolites such as L-glutamate or L-aspartate in the yeast response to nitrogen input variation. …”

CCL21-CCR7 blockade prevents neuroinflammation and degeneration in Parkinson’s disease models
Published 2025-02-01“…Mechanistically, neuronal CCL21 was shown to regulate microglial cell migration, proliferation, and activation in a CCR7-dependent manner through both canonical (PI3K/AKT) and non-canonical (ERK1/2/JNK) signaling pathways. Finally, we demonstrated that navarixin, a clinically relevant chemokine inhibitor with high affinity for the CCR7 receptor, could block CCL21 effects on microglia and prevent neurodegeneration and behavioral deficits in two mouse models of PD induced with either α-synuclein oligomers (αSynO) or 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetaldehyde (DOPAL). …”

Discharge and Optical Emission Spectrum Characteristics of a Coaxial Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma-Assisted Combustion Actuator
Published 2020-01-01“…The intensity of the spectral lines (297.54 nm, 315.76 nm, 336.96 nm, and 357.56 nm) first increased, then maintained, and then increased rapidly with the increased radius; however, the intensity of the spectral lines (380.34 nm, 405.80 nm, and 434.30 nm) basically remained unchanged, then increased, and finally decreased with the increased radius. The vibrational temperature first decreased quickly and then increased and reached the minimum at r = 18 mm with the increased radius. …”

Elevation gradient effects on grassland species diversity and phylogenetic in the two-river source forest region of the Altai Mountains, Xinjiang, China
Published 2025-02-01“…The species diversity along the elevation gradient exhibits a bimodal trend, with an initial increase, followed by a decrease, another increase, and finally a decline as the elevation rises. In contrast, phylogenetic diversity shows a unimodal pattern, characterized by an initial increase followed by a decline with increasing elevation. …”

Published 2025-01-01“…This indicates that the [Au(L1)Cl]Cl2 complex has a strong affinity for the protein kinase (1HK7). Significant antiproliferative activity was seen in it against human breast cancer (MCF-7) and normal cell lines (MCF-10), as evidenced by the IC50 and selective indices (SI) values. …”

RDAU-Net: A U-Shaped Semantic Segmentation Network for Buildings near Rivers and Lakes Based on a Fusion Approach
Published 2024-12-01“…First, we designed a residual dynamic short-cut down-sampling (RDSC) module to minimize the interference of complex building shapes and building scale differences on the segmentation results; second, we reduced the semantic and resolution gaps between multi-scale features using a multi-channel cross fusion transformer module (MCCT); finally, a double-feature channel-wise fusion attention (DCF) was designed to improve the model’s ability to depict building edge details and to reduce the influence of similar features on the model. …”

Potassium-pillared Na4FeV(PO4)3@C cathode for high-performance sodium-ion batteries
Published 2025-04-01“…The kinetic analyses and ex-situ characterizations confirm that a small volume change, the pseudocapacitive- dominated sodium storage behavior and highly reversible redox reaction (Fe2+/3+ and V3+/4+) occur during the electrochemical reaction process. Finally, the optimized K-doped NFVP cathode also demonstrates great potential in practical utilization through the evaluation of electrochemical performance for full cells.…”

Statistical Method Based on Bayes-Type Empirical Score Test for Assessing Genetic Association with Multilocus Genotype Data
Published 2020-01-01“…Second, we propose a robust test method based on the new global test and the ordinary PCR test built on a prospective score statistic for testing marginal associations with each single marker when the genotype for each marker is coded as the number of minor alleles by taking the minimum p value of these two tests. Finally, through extensive simulation studies and analysis of the association between pancreatic cancer and some genes of interest, we show that the proposed robust test method has desirable power and can often identify association signals that may be missed by existing methods.…”
