Speciation of Potentially Carcinogenic Trace Nickel(II) Ion Levels in Human Saliva: A Sequential Metabolomics-Facilitated High-Field 1H NMR Investigation
Published 2024-12-01“…However, at higher Ni(II) concentrations (140–670 µmol/L), weaker carboxylate O-donor ligands such as lactate, formate, succinate, and acetate were featured as major Ni(II) ligands, a consequence of their much higher WMSS concentrations, which were sufficient for them to compete for these higher Ni(II) availabilities. …”

Design and implementation of adaptive mimic voting device oriented to persistent connection
Published 2022-06-01“…Results:A series of comparative experiments between the prototype system of the adaptive mimic voter and the traditional mimic voter is conducted as follows. (1) The evaluation of memory resource occupancy shows that the peak physical memory consumption and the total time of consuming physical memory when the adaptive mimic voter transmits 20MB web resources in chunked transfer encoding are significantly lower than those of the traditional mimic voter. (2) The evaluation of transmission delay shows that the response time of the adaptive mimic voter in the voting processing of 10MB to 320MB chunked transfer-encoded webpage resources is relatively low, indicating that its voting speed has been significantly improved. (3) The concurrency performance evaluation shows that the average of response time of the system applying the adaptive mimic voter under the request concurrency of 1000 to 5000 is lower than that of the traditional mimic voter, and the voting processing throughput is higher than that of the traditional mimic voter.(4)The evaluation of voting accuracy shows that the adaptive mimic voter based on the voting algorithm selects the strategy set is slightly weaker than the semantic feature algorithm and the AHP algorithm while far superior to the character similarity algorithm in the traditional mimic voter, which reveals that the adaptive mimic voter has an acceptable voting accuracy. …”

Blinking characteristics analyzed by a deep learning model and the relationship with tear film stability in children with long-term use of orthokeratology
Published 2025-01-01“…Independent t-test and Mann-Whitney test was used to analyze the blinking patterns and tear film characteristics between the long-term ortho-K wearer group and the control group. Spearman’s rank correlation was used to analyze the relationship between blinking patterns and tear film stability.ResultsOur deep learning system demonstrated high performance (accuracy = 98.13%, precision = 96.46%, sensitivity = 98.10%, specificity = 98.10%, F1 score = 0.9727) in the observation of blinking patterns. …”

Gravitational wave luminosity distance for Starobinsky gravity in viscous cosmological models
Published 2025-01-01“…In addition, by comparing the GW and EM luminosity distances of SG model with $$d_{L(GR)}$$ d L ( G R ) of Einstein GR, we find that the GW and EM signals in SG1 and SG2 change from stronger to weaker than the ones in GR as redshift increases and more difficultly to be detected in the same distance and detection sensitivity. …”
