Environmental Landscape Design Based on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Space Technology
Published 2022-01-01“…Moreover, this study uses polygons to model external landscape plants instead of modeling the microelement structure of landscape plants and re-polygonize them, which simplifies the model structure of landscape plants and improves computational efficiency. …”

Modification of the No-Touch Technique during Renal Artery Stenting
Published 2013-01-01“…We describe a modification of the no-touch technique by using an over-the-wire (OTW) balloon or a Quickcross catheter with a coronary wire inside, instead of the rigid J wire. The reported technique, while it prevents direct contact of the guiding catheter with the aortic wall, at the same time it allows for a closer contact with the renal arterial ostium and a more favorable guiding catheter orientation, compared to what is achieved with the use of the more rigid J wire, thus improving visualization, reducing the amount of contrast required, and potentially decreasing complications.…”

The Social Cartography of Chapiquiña: Revindicating Indigenous Territorial Rights in the Highlands of Arica, Chile
Published 2018-05-01“…This process led us to infer the hypothesis that the process of rural-urban migration from these Aymara communities to the city of Arica is not a process of indigenous de-territorialization. Instead we argue that these processes represent the transformation and construction of contemporary rural-urban Aymara territory.…”

Du cadre d’action collective au programme partisan : ancrages patronaux des islamismes en Turquie et en Tunisie
Published 2020-07-01“…The analysis focuses on Ennahdha in Tunisia and the Justice and Development Party in Turkey, whose programs are seen to bring no model of alternative development and to make the Islamic reference an element of rhetoric. Instead of evaluating the failure or success of these movements by the influence of a religious orthodoxy, the text focuses on the framing work carried out by partisan groups in interaction with their social properties and according to specific temporalities and scales of action. …”

Les liminalités dans les représentations du cycle solaire quotidien
Published 2020-07-01“…The article studies the division of the daily solar cycle in Mexico, among the Aztecs of the 16th century based on ethnohistorical documents, and among the contemporary Tlapanec people based on ethnographic observations. Instead of viewing the cycle as built upon two points (sunrise and sunset) and two categories (day and night), I show that it hinges on four points (also including noon and midnight) and four categories (also including the rising sun and setting sun). …”
