Cost‐Effective Synthesis of Fe5C2 Catalyst From Nanosized Zero‐Valent Iron to Achieve Efficient Photothermocatalytic CO Hydrogenation to Light Olefins
Published 2025-01-01“…Here, a cost‐effective and versatile method is proposed for the synthesis of Fe5C2 nanoparticles (NPs) with nanosized zero‐valent iron (abbreviated as NZVI, prepared by reducing iron salts or ball‐milling iron powder) instead of iron carbonyls, achieving a cost reduction of 76.8%. …”

Geochemistry and mineralogy of Cobalt in mine wastes: examples from Cobalt, Canada and Cornwall, England
Published 2025-02-01“…At the sites in Cornwall, however, Co-bearing primary and secondary minerals were not identified. Instead, Co was observed as a trace component in primary arsenopyrite, pyrite, and chalcopyrite and in secondary scorodite and Fe-Mn oxyhydroxides. …”

Host Factors in the Natural History of Chronic Hepatitis B: Role of Genetic Determinants
Published 2022-01-01“…Age and male gender were associated with CHB phase progression instead of the TNF-α and IL-10 polymorphisms. It would be beneficial to study not only the effect of host determinants but also the viral factor to understand the mechanisms of CHB phase progression.…”

Characteristics, location, and usage patterns of resting burrows in Chinese pangolins: Insights from radio-telemetry tracking
Published 2025-01-01“…To conclude the findings:1) burrow count, while useful for identifying pangolin presence, is not a suitable quantitative indicator of population density. 2) Most resting burrows had compacted soil at the entrance, which could be mistaken for old or inactive burrows in other studies. 3) Resting burrows function as permanent structures that are reused across seasons instead of seasonal adaptations. 4) Preserving low-disturbance habitats will be critical for ensuring sufficient resting burrow sites, thereby supporting the long-term viability of pangolin populations. …”

Comparative and Correlational Evaluation of the Phytochemical Constituents and Antioxidant Activity of Musa sinensis L. and Musa paradisiaca L. Fruit Compartments (Musaceae)
Published 2020-01-01“…The correlation outcomes indicate that none of the phytochemical constituents solely affected antioxidant activity; instead, a combination of the polyphenolic constituents contributed to antioxidant activity. …”

Signal Processing-Free Intelligent Model for Power Quality Disturbances Identification
Published 2025-01-01“…The results demonstrate that these simple CNN models maintain stable accuracy values in normal and noisy environments, even with increasing classes and noise, the models managed to maintain a high-performance level with up to 99.39% accuracy for 17 classes when the Adam optimizer was used instead of RMSprop. The models could deal with noise-related disturbances, still achieving accuracy as high as 96.42% when trained by just 50% of the dataset under 30dB SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) conditions. …”
