Bispecific antibody-mediated redirection of NKG2D-CAR natural killer cells facilitates dual targeting and enhances antitumor activity
Published 2021-10-01“…In an immunocompetent mouse glioblastoma model mimicking low or absent NKG2DL expression, the combination of NKAR-NK-92 cells and NKAB-ErbB2 effectively suppressed outgrowth of ErbB2-positive tumors, resulting in treatment-induced endogenous antitumor immunity and cures in the majority of animals. Conclusions Our results demonstrate that combining an NKAB antibody with effector cells expressing an activating NKAR receptor represents a powerful and versatile approach to simultaneously enhance tumor antigen-specific as well as NKG2D-CAR and natural NKG2D-mediated cytotoxicity, which may be particularly useful to target tumors with heterogeneous target antigen expression.…”

Probiotics Can Boost the Antitumor Immunity of CD8+T Cells in BALB/c Mice and Patients with Colorectal Carcinoma
Published 2020-01-01“…To detect the tumor samples of 122 patients with colorectal carcinoma after surgery, analyze the effect of probiotics on enhancing tumor-infiltrating CD8+T cells to inhibit colorectal carcinoma, and further verify the mechanism of probiotics on enhancing the antitumor immune response of CD8+T cells through animal experiments. Results. The results of immunohistochemistry showed that the proportion of CD8+T cells in the patients treated with probiotics before surgery was increased significantly than that in other patients (P=0.033). …”

The dual anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effects of Jianpi Huashi Tongluo prescription on Rheumatoid Arthritis through inhibiting the activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathw...
Published 2025-02-01“…Lastly, a co-culture system of RA patient-derived peripheral blood mononuclear cells (RA-PBMCs) and vascular endothelial cells (VECs) was established to mimic the in vivo microenvironment, and the anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant mechanisms of XFC were validated in vitro.ResultsData mining analysis revealed abnormally elevated levels of inflammatory and coagulation markers such as fibrinogen (FBG), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (Hs-CRP), and rheumatoid factor (RF) in RA patients (p < 0.001), and emphasized the close correlation between XFC treatment and the improvement of these markers including Hs-CRP, ESR, and RF (confidence >60% and lift >1). Animal experimental data indicated that XFC effectively reduced the levels of inflammatory and coagulant markers (IL-6, D-D, FBG, PAF, VEGF, and TF) in adjuvant-induced arthritis (AA) rats while enhancing the expression of anti-inflammatory factors (IL-10) (p < 0.05). …”
