Degradation State Identification of Cracked Ultrasonic Motor by Means of Fault Feature Extraction Method
Published 2019-01-01“…The cracking of piezoelectric ceramics is the main reason of failure of an ultrasonic motor. Since the fault information is too weak to reflect the condition of piezoelectric ceramics especially in the early degradation stage, a fault feature extraction method based on multiscale morphological spectrum and permutation entropy is proposed. …”

Challenges for beyond 5G:ultra-densification of radio access network
Published 2020-11-01“…Ultra-densification of radio access network (RAN) is a key to efficiently support the exponentially growing mobile data traffic in 5G era.Furthermore, extremely high frequency band like mmWave band was utilized to solve the bandwidth shortage problem.However,untra-dense reusing the same radio resource produced severe interference. And the mmWave link was very harsh due to frequent blockage by obstacles. Therefore a new RAN architecture needed to be introduced to realize ultra-reliable communications in such a severe radio propagation environment. An architecture of distributed MIMO based RAN was presented. Then, enhanced interference coordination (eIC) was described. Finally, the effectiveness of distributed MIMO based RAN with eIC by computer simulation was showed.…”

Backscatter communication assisted vehicular positioning technology with ultra-high accuracy
Published 2020-07-01“…The accurate vehicular positioning technology has been the fundamentalfunction for safer auto-driving and vehicular-to-everything networks. One research trend focuses on enabling the low-cost,reliable,and accurate vehicular positioning in high-density cities, tunnels, and underground where the GPS or cellular positioning can’t work due to the signaling blocking. To this end,a novel backscatter communication assisted vehicular positioning system was proposed where a backscatter-reader (with two antennas) was deployed on vehicle and at least one backscatter-tag is deployed along a roadside, based on which the location of vehicle could be estimated with ultra-high reliability and accuracy.Through simulation verification,BackCom vehicle positioning technology can achieve extremely high positioning accuracy. At the same time,BackCom’s vehicle positioning technology is very easy to expand.By increasing the number of antennas in its positioning reader,it could further improve its positioning accuracy.BackCom vehicle positioning technology has the advantages of low cost, low power consumption, high accuracy, high reliability, and easy deployment. It is suitable for various driving environments and has extremely high theoretical research value and commercial value.…”
