Preparation and application evaluation of monoclonal antibodies against Monkeypox virus A29 protein
Published 2025-01-01“…The coding sequences of the MPXV A29 protein, Cowpox virus (CPXV) 163 protein homolog and Vaccinia virus (VACV) A27 protein homolog were chemically synthesized, and all three recombinant proteins were expressed in Escherichia coli (BL21 Star). Then, the recombinant A29 protein was used as an antigen to immunize BALB/c mice, and a total of 4 monoclonal antibodies against A29 protein were obtained. …”

Application of green silver nano-particles as anti-bacterial and photo-catalytic degradation of azo dye in wastewater
Published 2024-12-01“…Furthermore, these nano-particles were determined to possess a crystalline nature, with an average size of 28.72 nm and a distinctive star-like shape. The synthesized silver nano-particles (AgNPs) exhibited a dose-dependent anti-bacterial effect against some clinical bacterial isolates as multi-drug resistant (MDR), including Gram− ve bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, as well as Gram+ ve bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae. …”

Effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on patients with chronic ankle instability: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Published 2025-01-01“…
Results
① A total of 12 randomized controlled trials were included, encompassing 405 patients with Chronic Ankle Instability, demonstrating a generally high methodological quality of the literature.② Meta-analysis results indicate that compared to the control group, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) significantly enhanced the balance ability of patients with Chronic Ankle Instability as measured by the Y Balance Test (YBT) (Weighted Mean Difference (WMD) = 3.61, 95% CI [2.65, 4.56], z = 7.42, P<0.001) and the Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) (WMD = 5.50, 95% CI [3.80, 7.19], z = 6.36, P<0.001), with improvement in all eight directions of SEBT balance ability surpassing that of the control group (P<0.05); muscle strength around the ankle (SMD) = 0.19, 95% CI [0.03, 0.36], z = 2.26, P = 0.024), with both Plantar flexion and Dorsal flexion muscle strength improvements exceeding those of the control group (P<0.05); Visual Analog Scale (VAS) (WMD = -1.39, 95% CI [-1.72, -1.06], z = 8.23, P<0.001); Ankle instability questionnaire (WMD = 2.91, 95% CI [1.92, 3.89], z = 5.78, P<0.001).③Descriptive analysis results showed that the differences in Inversion Joint Position Sense and Dorsiflexion range of motion between the PNF and control groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05), however, the effects of PNF training persisted for a certain period even after cessation of treatment.…”

Population of Merging Compact Binaries Inferred Using Gravitational Waves through GWTC-3
Published 2023-03-01“…The Gravitational-Wave Transient Catalog 3 (GWTC-3) contains signals consistent with three classes of binary mergers: binary black hole, binary neutron star, and neutron star–black hole mergers. We infer the binary neutron star merger rate to be between 10 and 1700 Gpc^{−3} yr^{−1} and the neutron star–black hole merger rate to be between 7.8 and 140 Gpc^{−3} yr^{−1}, assuming a constant rate density in the comoving frame and taking the union of 90% credible intervals for methods used in this work. …”
