Los resultados empíricos de los casos nos permiten concluir que las demandas de la ciudadanía no se ven reflejadas en la reproducción de la realidad por parte de los medios; que la selección de eventos presentados en la prensa escrita están sugeridos por los actores gubernamentales para justificar políticas o decisiones previamente asumidas y, por lo tanto, que los medios no cumplen en estos casos la función social de formar opinión pública para la democratización real de los procesos sociales y políticos de nuestras sociedades.…”
