The dynamics and longevity of circulating CD4+ memory T cells depend on cell age and not the chronological age of the host.
Published 2024-08-01“…Together, these allow us to quantify the dynamics of both young and established circulating memory CD4 T cell subsets, within both young and old mice. We show that that these cells and their descendents become more persistent the longer they reside within the TCM and TEM pools. …”

Cellular Mechanisms Underlying Eosinophilic and Neutrophilic Airway Inflammation in Asthma
Published 2015-01-01“…These immune-inflammatory profiles develop as a consequence of a functional impairment of T regulatory (Treg) lymphocytes, which promotes the activation of dendritic cells directing the differentiation of distinct Th cell subsets. The recent advances in the knowledge of the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying asthmatic inflammation are contributing to the identification of novel therapeutic targets, potentially suitable for the implementation of future improvements in antiasthma pharmacologic treatments.…”

Gaussian Covariance Faithful Markov Trees
Published 2011-01-01“…Covariance graph models also represent more complex conditional independence relationships between subsets of variables. When the covariance graph captures or reflects all the conditional independence statements present in the probability distribution, the latter is said to be faithful to its covariance graph—though in general this is not guaranteed. …”

Expanding the therapeutic horizon in acute myeloid leukemia: The role of phosphoinositide-3-kinase-γ inhibition
Published 2024-12-01“…Using genome-wide CRISPR interference screening, we identified PI3Kγ as a critical survival pathway in certain AML subsets. We demonstrated that inhibition of PI3Kγ with eganelisib disrupts oxidative phosphorylation, thereby impeding AML cell survival and proliferation. …”

Analysis model of binary code security flaws based on structure characteristics
Published 2017-09-01“…Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing methods to detect the security flaws that have complex structures,a new analysis model and its application method was proposed.First, analysis models based on key information of code structures extracted from path subsets of characteristic element sets that are generated by source code element sets of code security flaws were constructed. Then the analysis model according to the statistical probability of each kind of IR statement was calculated, and the IR code group which matched the feature model was found. Finally, through the translating relation between binary codes and IR codes, various code security flaws of binary program were found out.The analysis models can be applied to both common single-process binary programs and binary parallel programs.Experimental results show that compared with the existing methods, the application of the analysis model can be more comprehensive and in-depth in detecting various types of complex binary code security flaws with higher accuracy.…”
