Trans fatty acids and saturated fatty acids in margarines and spreads in Kazakhstan: Study period 2015–2021
Published 2025-01-01“…In contrast, in the period 2018–2021, the TFA average content was 14.2 ± 0.06 % in margarines, and 10.6 ± 0.05 % in spreads, which is still 7.4 and 6 times higher than the regulatory requirements of the Customs Union (Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan) and the EU, respectively. The strong cause effect between TFA and cardiovascular diseases urges Kazakhstan and other countries to reduce TFA in commercial products. …”

Metabolomics Biomarkers in Prediction of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome: The Role of Short Chain Fatty Acids
Published 2025-01-01“…The models also demonstrated strong classification capabilities, as indicated by a high True Positive Rate (TPR) in the AUC, a low Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 0.20, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.04 and Standard deviation (SD) of 0.10, emphasizing the robustness and precision of the approach. …”

A flexible PI/MXene triboelectric nanogenerator for energy harvesting and motion monitoring in table tennis
Published 2025-01-01“…While the open-circuit voltage (VOC, ∼105 V) and transferred charge (QSC, ∼63.14 nC) remain stable across 2–6 Hz, the short-circuit current (ISC) increases significantly from 14.91 μA at 2 Hz to 41.41 μA at 6 Hz. A strong linear correlation between applied force and output performance is observed, with VOC rising from 63.41 V at 10 N to 148.14 V at 50 N, ISC from 7.31 to 17.98 μA, and QSC from 29.69 to 69.73 nC, demonstrating the device’s potential for precise force sensing. …”

Piper-PCA-Fisher Recognition Model of Water Inrush Source: A Case Study of the Jiaozuo Mining Area
Published 2018-01-01“…Compared with the traditional Fisher water source recognition model, the Piper-PCA-Fisher water source recognition model established in this study had higher accuracy in both rediscrimination and prediscrimination processes. Thus it had a strong ability to discriminate water inrush sources.…”

Inhibiting the alternative pathway of complement by reducing systemic complement factor B: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 1 studies with Sefaxersen
Published 2025-03-01“…Lowering of FB protein was paralleled by similar reductions of plasma Bb levels. There was a strong correlation between reduction of plasma levels of FB and alternative complement pathway activity (AH50), but no meaningful changes in classical complement pathway activity (CH50). …”
