A method of planning and designing transmission networks for government and enterprises based on a rectangle-like distribution model combined with heat maps by Shuchong NAN, Cheng CHEN, Xunbiao LIAN, Han WANG

    Published 2022-09-01
“…The circuit direction and service access point of the special line service for government enterprise group customers are decided by the customers themselves, and the service opening is extremely unpredictable. In order to effectively solve the problems of strong subjectivity, difficult adjustment, long cycle and low efficiency in the service opening of government and enterprise customers, a typical simulation environment and a quasi rectangular distribution model was built, and two deployment strategies combined with the thermal map were proposed. The simulation analysis shows that under the same conditions, the number of VC-OTN (VC cross connecting function with optical transport network) points meeting the coverage requirements decreases with the increase of the maximum access distance, the client point coverage increases with the increase of the deployed VC-OTN points, and the deployment benefit of strategy 2 (group coverage by maturity) is higher than that of strategy 1 (priority coverage of hot spots). When the coverage requirements are met, the number of VC points required by the theoretical minimum, strategy 1 and strategy 2 are 26, 58 and 50, respectively. This method provides reliable theoretical guidance for the accurate and rapid construction of network system, avoids blind deployment, improves the accuracy of deployment planning, and provides construction reference ideas for the subsequent construction of urban VC-OTN nodes.…”

Application of SWAT Model for Runoff Calculation in Small Watershed of Zhejiang Province by LAN Xuechun, WANYAN Sheng, ZHANG Zhenqi

    Published 2020-01-01
“…To verify the applicability of the SWAT model in runoff calculation in small watershed of Zhejiang province, this paper collects daily records for the past 20 years from Wenling meteorological station, topographic map, land use and soil data, and establishes the SWAT model of the Human reservoir by using the SWAT2012 module loaded with Arcgis 10.2 software. In calibration period (1999—2008),R2 (correlation coefficient) is 0.89 and ENS (Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency) is 0.88;in validation period (2009—2018),R2 is 0.93 and ENS is 0.91.With an error of 1.3%,the simulated annual average flow is 0.8 m3/s and the observed flow is 0.79 m3/s,which indicating a high accuracy of the model. The sensitivity test of input parameters shows that the SOL_AWC.sol (available water capacity of soil) and CN2.mgt (runoff coefficient of different land use) are significant to simulated results. The model can be further used for forecasting the flood process and peak flow of Human reservoir,as well as optimizing the reservoir operation scheme and formulating the protection program of water source.…”

Simultaneous vehicular location and velocity detection towards 6G integrated communication and sensing by Bingpeng ZHOU, Shanshan MA

    Published 2023-03-01
“…., signal bandwidth, the number of transceiver antenna and sub-carriers, on RSS performance was evaluated as well.It was verified by simulations that the proposed RSS algorithm outperformed state-of-the-art baseline methods due to the employed problem-specific system design. In addition, it was shown by simulations that the achieved RSS error was reduced with the increasing of sub-carrier frequency, the number of transceiver antennas and sub-carriers, and it was increased with the increasing distance between base station and vehicle receiver.Particularly, the vehicle location estimation accuracy was increasing with system bandwidth, but it was invariant with central carrier frequency, since only baseband features of received signal were employed for vehicle localization. In contrast, the vehicle velocity detection accuracy was increasing with central carrier frequency, yet it was insensitive to system bandwidth, given the fixed number of sub-carriers.…”

Design of microwave ceramic waveguide filter with high out-of-band suppression characteristics by Fei LIANG, Shunliang MENG, Wenzhong LYU

    Published 2021-04-01
“…The design theory of ceramic waveguide filter was introduced, and then the combination structure of coupling through slot with shallow or deep coupling blind hole was designed, which could meet the requirements of positive and negative coupling bandwidth.By adjusting the cross coupling between 3~6 cavities, the symmetry of the filter transmis-sion curve was improved, and the near and far end band suppression of the filter was realized. Finally, a six-cavity ce-ramic waveguide filter for 5G base station was designed. In the process of optimizing the filter, the influences of the rela-tive position offset of the cross-coupling through slot and the length of the cross-coupling through slot on the transmis-sion zero position, the near end and far end out of band suppression characteristics of the filter were discussed in detail, and the relevant change rules were given. The performance indexes of the optimized filter were as follows, center fre-quency was 3.5 GHz, working bandwidth was 200 MHz, insertion loss ≤ 1.2 dB, return loss ≥ 17 dB, near end out of band rejection ≥ 25 dB, far end out of band rejection ≥ 51 dB.According to the structural parameters of the simulation model, the performance test results of the samples are in good agreement with the simulation results.…”
