Routing protocol based on energy aware in ad hoc networks
Published 2012-04-01“…An energy-aware routing protocol (EARP) was presented to minimize the effect of limit energy supply of terminals in ad hoc network.In the novel protocol,different transmission paths based on service state of single node and energy consumption of the whole network could be chosen.When transmission path was broken,local maintaining strategy was evoked to reduce re-transmission of data packets and therefore route efficiency was improved.Moreover,node energy levels were introduced to avoid transmission link brake caused by energy exhaustion.Simulations were carried out on NS2 platform.The results show that,in the same simulation environment,comparing to other routing protocols,this routing protocol performs more effectively on balancing the traffic load,protecting low energy nodes and prolonging the network lifetime.…”

Apply PSO into cloud storage task scheduling with QoS preference awareness
Published 2014-03-01“…The task scheduling algorithm in cloud storage area with QoS preference awareness was studied.Firstly,the differences between cloud storage and cloud computing were pointed,and exist matrix was used to avoid the creation of useless solutions.Secondly,QoS factors were summarized into three classes:time,cost and quality classes.Based on the three classes,the fitness function of the PSO was improved by using weighted factors to adjust the QoS preference.The simulation results release that PSO is not fit for the overall scheduling when the task distributions of different degrees are unevenness because the QoS demand of wide distribution tasks may cover the QoS demand of other tasks.So a hierarchical scheduling based on degree is necessary.The simulation results show that the improved hierarchical PSO scheduling algorithm can aware the QoS preference relevantly.…”

Structure and performance analysis of binary differential stochastic process shift keying
Published 2014-12-01“…A novel modulation and demodulation structure based on binary differential stochastic process shift keying (BDSPSK) is proposed.The theoretical bit error rates (BER) under the Gaussian and quasi-static Rayleigh fading chan-nels are derived,respectively.To verify its performances and security,lots of simulations are done by using MATLAB.The simulations' results show that the BER of the proposed BDSPSK can reach 10<sup>−4</sup>when signal to noise ratio (SNR) is about −2 dB in the Gaussian channel or 25 dB in the Rayleigh fading channel.Meanwhile,the proposed method has a good concealment due to its undetectable property by the generalized second order cyclostationary spectrum,which makes it suit for secure communications in the physical layer.…”
