Safety Detection and Assessment of Aqueduct Supporting Structure under Lateral Impact Load
Published 2023-01-01“…In view of the structural damage of an aqueduct pile-pillar supporting structure caused by ship collisions, relevant engineering data were collected, and on-site detection and monitoring analysis were carried out.In addition, the finite element method was used to establish a three-dimensional entity analytical model of the aqueduct pile-pillar structure.Under the joint action of the coupled foundation and pile foundation and superstructure, numerical simulation and calculation analysis were carried out on the pile-pillar collision process. The distribution and characteristics of the damage of the supporting structure caused by collisions were studied and verified. The finite element numerical simulation results show that the high-stress area of the aqueduct pile-pillar structure during the ship collision process can be divided into two categories according to the cause. One is the high-stress area caused by the direct contact load, which occurs in the collision contact surface and the adjacent area between the ship in a collision and the bearing platform, and the other is caused by the overall bending deformation of the pile-pillar structure, which occurs in the dangerous section of the pile-pillar structure and the bearing platform connection. In addition, the simulation analysis and on-site detection results are consistent.By assessing the influence of ship collisions and checking the potential safety hazards of the aqueduct, the research results lay a foundation for the maintenance, reinforcement, and design of the aqueduct.…”

Research and Application of SWAT Model in Basin Without Reservoir Outflow Data
Published 2021-01-01“…Due to human factors such as reservoirs, the hydrological cycle of natural basins will change.During the establishment of a basin hydrological model, the reservoir factors should be considered. However, the lack of reservoir outflow data will affect the accuracy of the model to a certain extent.Based on the SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) distributed hydrological model,long-term daily-scale hydrological model under natural conditions, and Muskingum principle, this paper establishes the upstream and downstream flow response relationships, and obtains the reservoir outflow to improve the accuracy of the simulated hydrological cycle, applies the method to the Guijiang River Basin in Guilin City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for verification, and identifies and verifies the hydrological model parameters of the Guijiang River Basin through SWAT-CUP.The results show that the simulated runoff at each hydrological station after the availability of the reservoir outflow is close to the measured runoff.Among them, the monthly runoff simulation evaluation factors R2 and NS of Guilin Station are increased from 0.85 and 0.83 to 0.98 and 0.93 respectively, and the accuracy of the model is effectively improved, which provide technical means for hydrological management of the Guijiang River Basin.…”
