“…A potential hidden relationship may exist among different zombie groups.A method to analyze the relationship among botnets was proposed based on the communication activities.The method extracted several communication fea-tures of botnet,including the number of flows per hour,the number of packets per flow,the number of flows per IP and the packet payloads.It defined similarity statistical functions of the communication features,and built the analysis model of botnets relationship based on the advanced dempster-shafer（D-S） evidence theory to synthetically evaluate the simi-larities between different zombie groups.The experiments were conducted using several botnet traces.The results show that the method is valid and efficient,even in the case of encrypted botnet communication messages.Moreover,the ideal processing results is achieved by applying our method to analyze the data captured from the security monitoring platform of computer network,as well as compare with similar work.…”

“…The trust models employed by the existing systems do not provide adequate support to cope with dishonest feedbacks,strategically altering behaviors of malicious peers efficiently and the incentive mechanism.The time-window based local trust model TW-Trust was presented to solve these problems.It considers the inherent connection among trust,reputation and incentive and the effect of time factor on the trust computation.Six trust parameters are introduced to compute trustworthiness of peers,named direct trust,history reputation,difference reputation,misusing reputation,simi-larity and incentive utility.These parameters are adjusted in time to reflect the dynamic of the trust environment using feedback control mechanism,thus,the trust evaluation has better adaptability to the dynamic of trust.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the TW-Trust has advantages in countering strategic altering behavior and dishonest feedbacks of malicious peers and solving the sparseness issue in the computation of similarity.It is more effective in trust computation error and transaction failure rate than the previous models.…”

“…In order to extract feature information of side channel signal from the strong noise,the approach of signal feature extraction was proposed on account of empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and difference spectrum of singular value.Firstly,using EMD to decompose the original side channel signal,the correlation coefficient between all the intrinsic mode functions (IMF) and the original signal were calculated to find the component of biggest simi-lar characteristic.Then,to make a singular value decomposition of IMF component and corresponding difference spectrum of singular values was obtained.Finally,according to the difference spectrum,the filtered and recon-structed signal of IMF component was obtained,and the feature information of component was further extracted.The actual examples show that the method can extract characteristic information of side channel signal validly and improve the SNR and success rate of attack of signal successfully.…”

“…Statistical characteristics of network traffic data in FrFT domain were analyzed,which indicates the self-simi-larity feature.Further,Hurst parameter estimation methods based on modified ensemble empirical mode decomposi-tion-detrended fluctuation analysis (MEEMD-DFA) and adaptive estimator with weighted least square regression (WLSR) were presented,which aimed at displaying network traffic in “time” or “frequency” domain of FrFT domain separately.Experimental results demonstrate that the MEEMD-DFA method has more accurate estimate precision but higher com-putational complexity than existing common methods.The overall robustness of adaptive estimator is more satisfactory than that of the other methods in simulation,while it has lower computational complexity.Thus,it can be used as a real-time online Hurst parameter estimator for traffic data.…”
