CT-TDMA:efficient TDMA protocol for underwater sensor networks by Lu HONG, Feng HONG, Zheng-bao LI, Zhong-wen GUO

    Published 2012-02-01
“…Aimed at underwater acoustic sensor networks(UWSN),a novel sender based conflict model with the schemes of allocating continuous time was presented, including local conflict graph(LCG)and a distribute algorithm to generate LCG.Moreover,CT-TDMA,an efficient TDMA protocol based on the conflict model was also proposed, which used heuristic priority rules to allocate transmitting moments for all nodes.CT-TDMA exploits the diversity of propagation delay of different links in UWSN to decrease the idle time between packets at the same receiving node, which helps in improving the throughput. And a heuristic schedule algorithm is applied to shorten the process of allocating continuous time for each node.Simulation results show that, compared with traditional TDMA protocols such as ST-MAC,network throughput of CT-TDMA has increased 20% and end to end delay has decreased 18%;compared to the theoretically optimal scheme with global knowledge,CT-TDMA has achieved 80% network throughput and the end to end delay is only 12% longer.…”

Algorithm of underdetermined convolutive blind source separation for high reverberation environment by Yuan XIE, Tao1 ZOU, Weijun SUN, Shengli XIE

    Published 2023-02-01
“…To separate the underdetermined convolutive mixture signals in the high reverberation environment, a novel algorithm of underdetermined convolutive blind source separation was proposed.Aiming at the influence of high reverberation environment, a global impulse response network was designed to weaken reverberation echo, improving signal quality.A new mathematical model of time-frequency mixing signals was established based on the global impulse response network. The global impulse response matrix which shortened the length of the traditional impulse response, reduced the approximation error of model transformation caused by high reverberation. The real-time update learning rules of model parameters were designed based on the theory of nonnegative matrix factorization, and the source signal separation problem was converted into the model parameter optimization problem, achieving blind source separation of mixing signals.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively realize the blind source separation of Chinese and English speech and music signals, and the comparision with existing popular algorithms verified the superiority of the proposed algorithm.…”

MLAR:large-scale network alias resolution for IP geolocation by Fuxiang YUAN, Fenlin LIU, Chong LIU, Yan LIU, Xiangyang LUO

    Published 2020-08-01
“…In order to accurately and efficiently perform alias resolution on interface IP and support IP geolocation,a large-scale network alias resolution algorithm (MLAR) was proposed.Based on the statistical differences in delays, paths,Whois, etc.between alias IP and non-alias IP,before resolution, filtering rules were designed to exclude a large number of IPs that can not be aliases and improve efficiency of resolution, alias resolution was transformed into classification, and four novel features such as delay similarity, path similarity, etc.were constructed for the classification of possible alias IP and non-alias IP after filtering.Experiments based on millions of samples from CAIDA show that compared with RadarGun,MIDAR,and TreeNET,the accuracy is improved by 15.8%,4.8%,5.7%,the time consumption can be reduced by up to 77.8%,65.3%,and 55.2%,when the proposed algorithm is applied to IP geolocation, the failure rates of the three typical geolocation methods such as SLG,LENCR,and PoPG are reduced by about 65.5%,64.1%,and 58.1%.…”
