Consensus Achievement of Decentralized Sensors Using Adapted Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm by Hyunseok Kim, Seongju Chang, Jinsul Kim

    Published 2014-04-01
“…This paper explores the possibility of enhancing consensus achievement of decentralized sensors by establishing cooperative behavior between sensor agents. To these ends, a novel particle swarm optimization framework to achieve robust consensus of decentralized sensors is devised to distribute sensing information via local fusing with neighbors rather than through centralized control; the new framework showed a 16.5 percent improvement in consensus achievement as compared to the classic majority rule method. …”

Polynomial estimation method for PN sequence based on reliability accumulation by Song CHEN, Kai-zhi HUANG, Hua ZHAO

    Published 2012-09-01
“…The issues of insufficient efficiency and poor error-tolerance of current high-order polynomial estimation me-thods under error conditions were studied.By combining the iterative berlekamp-massey(BM)algorithm in GF(2)and the improved Chase algorithm,a novel algorithm based on reliability accumulation was proposed. The sequence soft infor-mation was mapped to sequence reliability as the input information of BM algorithm, and the corresponding output relia-bility of estimated polynomial was accumulated as the rule of correct polynomial. In order to improve the estimation pre-cision,the candidate reliability-accumulated polynomial set were reduced by the characteristics of primitive polynomial in GF(2).The simulation results show that the proposed method is irrelevant with the tapped number of ator poly-nomial,and has a good estimation performance to estimate 17-order polynomials when the sequence BER is 18%.…”

Cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm based on limiting eigenvalue distribution by Yin MI, Guang-yue LU

    Published 2015-01-01
“…A novel maximum-minimum eigenvalue (NMME) cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm and threshold decision rule are proposed via analyzing minimum eigenvalue limiting distribution of the covariance matrix of the received signals from multiple cognitive users (CU) by means of latest random matrix theory (RMT).The proposed scheme could not need the prior knowledge of the signal transmitted from primary user (PU) and could effectively overcome the noise uncertainty. At a given probability of false alarm (Pfa),simulation results show that the proposed scheme can get lower decision threshold and higher probability of detection (Pd) compared with the original algorithm, and it can also get better detection performance with fewer CU and smaller sample numbers.…”
