Data Dependence Results for Multistep and CR Iterative Schemes in the Class of Contractive-Like Operators by Vatan Karakaya, Faik Gürsoy, Kadri Doğan, Müzeyyen Ertürk

    Published 2013-01-01
“…We intend to establish some results on the data dependence of fixed points of certain contractive-like operators for the multistep and CR iterative processes in a Banach space setting. One of our results generalizes the corresponding results of Soltuz and Grosan (2008) and Chugh and Kumar (2011).…”

An Equivalence between the Limit Smoothness and the Rate of Convergence for a General Contraction Operator Family by Maxim J. Goldberg, Seonja Kim

    Published 2020-01-01
“…Our main result is an equivalence between the smoothness of an L2X function f (as measured by an L2-Lipschitz condition involving at·,· and the distance D) and the rate of convergence of Atf to f.…”

Development of a Remote Handling Robot for the Maintenance of an ITER-Like D-Shaped Vessel by Peihua Chen, Qixin Cao

    Published 2014-01-01
“…Because of its special length and heavy payload, the dynamics of the PAA is also investigated through a dynamic simulation system based on robot technology middleware (RTM). The results of the path planning, workspace simulations, and dynamic simulation indicate that the RHR has good mobility together with satisfying kinematic and dynamic performances and can well accomplish its maintenance tasks in the ITER-like D-shaped vessel.…”

Task Balanced Workflow Scheduling Technique considering Task Processing Rate in Spot Market by Daeyong Jung, JongBeom Lim, JoonMin Gil, Eunyoung Lee, Heonchang Yu

    Published 2014-01-01
“…The simulation results reveal that, compared to various instance types, our scheme achieves performance improvements in terms of an average combined metric of 12.76% over workflow scheme without considering the processing rate. However, the cost in our scheme is higher than an instance with low performance and is lower than an instance with high performance.…”

SSRC:source rate control algorithm for delay-sensitive flow in data center network by Yang YANG, Min CAO, Jiahai YANG, Rong CHE, Wei LIU

    Published 2019-07-01
“…Previous work had studied how to ensure the transmission time of delay-sensitive flows, but falled short in its effectiveness for a given period.Motivated by that and based on SDN/OpenFlow framework,a SDN-based source rate control (SSRC) algorithm was proposed. With a global view of network,SSRC can quickly locate the potential congestion node, adjust the transmission rate of source and reduce the response time of SSRC.The experiment results show that compared with DCTCP and other algorithms,SSRC can shorten the completion time of flows by 75% in average, which can ensure the transmission time of delay-sensitive and solve the problem of Incast well.…”

Iterative rake equalization method for low-complexity OTSM in high-speed mobile environment by Guojun LI, Kun LONG, Changrong YE, Jiawen LIANG

    Published 2022-10-01
“…Aiming at the problems of poor anti-noise performance and high computational complexity of the existing orthogonal time sequency multiplexing (OTSM) equalization methods, a low-complexity iterative rake equalizer based on maximum ratio combining (MRC) was proposed. The main idea was to use MRC to iteratively extract and coherently combine the received multipath components of the transmitted symbols in the delay-time domain to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the combined signal. In order to speed up the convergence of the MRC iterative algorithm, a single-tap time-frequency equalizer was designed to provide an initial estimate, and then combined with an external error correction code to further improve the bit error performance. The simulation results show that the performance of the iterative rake equalizer based on MRC is significantly better than that of the LMMSE linear equalizer, and the performance and computational complexity are greatly improved compared with the currently widely used Gauss-Seidel (GS) iterative equalizer.…”
