Investigation of antioxidant, antidiabetic, and antiglycation properties of Sonchus oleraceus and Lobularia maritima (L.) Desv. extracts from Taza, Morocco
Published 2025-03-01“…They also demonstrated notable α-glucosidase and α-amylase inhibition, suggesting their ability to regulate glucose metabolism. Moreover, their antiglycation effects, marked by the prevention of advanced glycation end products and protein damage, highlight their potential in maintaining cellular integrity. These findings suggest that Sonchus oleraceus and Lobularia maritima extracts possess promising antioxidant, antidiabetic, and anti-inflammatory properties, paving the way for their therapeutic application in managing diabetes, oxidative stress, and related conditions.…”

Roles for Exosomes in the Pathogenesis, Drug Delivery and Therapy of Psoriasis
Published 2025-01-01“…Especially, engineered exosomes may serve as drug delivery systems for effective delivery of proteins, nucleic acids or other drugs due to their low immunogenicity, good stability and ability to fuse with target cells. Therefore, investigation into the mechanisms underlying intercellular communications mediated by exosomes in skin lesions likely helps design drugs for therapy of psoriasis. …”

Association of urban green and blue space with accelerated ageing: A cohort Study in the UK Biobank
Published 2025-01-01“…Results: After controlling for random effects and various types of covariates, we found that 1) populations with higher levels of UGBS exposure are associated with accelerated ageing and slowing down; 2) UGBS has the greatest impact on accelerated ageing within a 1000-m street network buffer distance; 3) Participants living in heavily polluted areas should pay more attention to UGBS; 4) Intermediary analysis found that UGBS mainly accelerates aging by reducing harm, rather than affecting the population's ability to recover and build. Conclusions: UGBS with a composite weighted score showed a better correlation with accelerated ageing than green spaces. …”
