Nr4a1 and Nr4a3 redundantly control clonal deletion and contribute to an anergy-like transcriptome in auto-reactive thymocytes to impose tolerance in mice
Published 2025-01-01“…We further show that the Nr4a family helps mediate a broad transcriptional program in self-reactive thymocytes that resembles anergy and may operate at the margins of canonical thymic tolerance mechanisms to restrain self-reactive T cells after thymic egress.…”

GRB 241107A: A Giant Flare from a Close-by Extragalactic Magnetar?
Published 2025-01-01“…The presence of the nearby galaxy PGC 86046 in the 3′ radius error region suggests that GRB 241107A might be a giant flare from a magnetar rather than a canonical short gamma-ray burst. For the 4.1 Mpc distance of PGC 86046, the isotropic energy of 1.6 × 10 ^45 erg is in agreement with this hypothesis, which is also supported by the time-resolved spectral properties similar to those of the few other extragalactic magnetars giant flares detected so far.…”

Working Memory Capacity, TL Grammar Attainment and Length of Study as Predictors of Explicit and Implicit (Automatized) Knowledge of English Passive Voice
Published 2024-01-01“…Receptive implicit (automatized) knowledge was assessed with a timed grammaticality judgment test while its productive dimension was assessed through a focused communication task. Canonical correlation for the entire model was rather high, which means that the original variables were strongly related to each other. …”

Situating the salience and parietal memory networks in the context of multiple parallel distributed networks using precision functional mapping
Published 2025-01-01“…Using high-resolution neuroimaging, we show that individualized estimates of the PMN extend beyond the posterior set and encompass frontal and insula regions canonically ascribed to the SAL. This suggests that the SAL and PMN form a unified network: “SAL/PMN.” …”

Environmental photocatalytic processes with POM. The photodecomposition of atrazine and photoreduction of metal ions from aqueous solutions
Published 2002-01-01“…Polyoxometalate anions (POM), resulting from the condensation of tungstate anions in strongly acidified solutions, can absorb efficiently light in the UV-near Vis region. The produced excited state is a very powerful oxidative reagent which can, mainly via OH radical attack, oxidize and mineralize a great variety of organic pollutants in aqueous solutions, while the photocatalytic circle is closed by reoxidation of the reduced POM, mainly, by O2. …”
