Preparation of Fe(II)/MOF-5 Catalyst for Highly Selective Catalytic Hydroxylation of Phenol by Equivalent Loading at Room Temperature by Bai-Lin Xiang, Lin Fu, Yongfei Li, Yuejin Liu

    Published 2019-01-01
“…In order to study the catalytic activity and reaction conditions of Fe(II)/MOF-5, it was used to catalyze the hydroxylation reaction of phenol with hydrogen peroxide. The results showed that the dihydroxybenzene yield of 53.2% and the catechol selectivity of 98.6% were obtained at the Fe2+ content of 3 wt.%, the mass ratio of Fe(II)/MOF-5 to phenol of 0.053, the reaction temperature of 80°C, and the reaction time of 2 h.…”

Electron–phonon coupling and coherent energy superposition induce spin-sensitive orbital degeneracy for enhanced acidic water oxidation by Yanfeng Shi, Lupeng Wang, Miao Liu, Zuozheng Xu, Peilin Huang, Lizhe Liu, Yuanhong Xu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Different from traditional nanostructuring, here we employ an innovative microwave-mediated electron–phonon coupling technique to assemble specific Ru atomic patterns (instead of random Ru-particle depositions) on Mn0.99Cr0.01O2 surfaces (RuMW-Mn1-xCrxO2) in RuCl3 solution because hydrated Ru-ion complexes can be uniformly activated to replace some Mn sites at nearby Cr-dopants through microwave-triggered energy coherent superposition with molecular rotations and collisions. …”

In vitro permeation studies of phenolics from horse chestnut seed gels prepared with different polyacrylic acid polymer derivatives by Zelbienė Eglė, Draksiene Gailute, Savickas Arunas, Kopustinskiene Dalia, Masteikova Ruta, Bernatoniene Jurga

    Published 2015-06-01
“…The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of polyacrylic acid polymers (Ultrez 10, Ultrez 20, Carbopol 980, and Carbopol 940) on the viscosity and the in vitro permeation of phenolic compounds from the gel prepared from natural horse chestnut seed extract. …”
