Published 2016-02-01
“…Objective:To investigate the correlation between Stroke ICF Core Element Scale and Stroke Common Functional Scale. Methods:Using Stroke ICF Core Element Scale, Fugl-Meyer Scale, Modified Barthel Index (MBI) to assess 50 cases of stroke patients, performing the correlation test with Pearson coefficient, Kappa value and Cronbach alpha coefficient to evaluate the validity, reliability and content consistency of the ICF Scale. Results:The Kappa values were between 0.676-0.958 (P<0.001), with a good test-retest reliability and inter-rater reliability, the evaluation outcomes of two raters had a better consistency; Cronbach alpha coefficient had a good consistency in body functions, activities, participation and the environmental factors. There was a negative correlation between MBI and the physical function, Fugl-Meyer, activity participation in ICF Core Element Scale. Conclusion:The ICF Core Elements Scale has a certain reliability and validity, which can reflect the function of body movement and the ability of daily life in stroke patients.…”
