Morphological Characteristics, Mitochondrial Genome, and Evolutionary Insights Into a New Sea Squirt From the Beibu Gulf
Published 2025-01-01“…Firstly, YZ‐2024 can be preliminarily distinguished by the following morphological features: (1) smooth surface of the tunica, without protuberances; (2) except for the attachment site, the tunica is orange‐red; (3) absence of neural ganglia, and the tunica does not contract abruptly when disturbed; (4) the heart is oval‐shaped. …”

Feasibility and potential diagnostic value of [18F]PI-2620 PET in patients with down syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease: a case series
Published 2025-01-01“…Visual read of tau PET scans was performed by three blinded raters, assessing increased tracer uptake in brain areas corresponding to the six Braak stage regions and basal ganglia.ResultsVisual read of tau burden revealed three tau-positive individuals which corresponded to their clinical decline while two cognitively stable individuals were rated as negative. …”

Effect of Acupuncture on the Expression of Heme Oxygenase 1 and Inflammatory Factors in Rats with Intracerebral Hemorrhage
Published 2021-10-01“…The expression of HO-1, nuclear transcription factor-κB (NF-κB), Interleukin-1β (IL-1β), transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) protein in hematoma tissue was detected by Western blot method at three time points of 1 d, 3 d and 7 d.Results1) There were no obvious neurological deficits in the sham operation group at all time points; the rats in the model group showed neurological deficit symptoms on the 1st day, and there were still obvious neurological deficits on the 3rd and 7th days; compared with the model group, the acupuncture group had significantly lower neurological scores at each time point (P<0.01). 2) Normal nerve cells and glial cells were seen in the basal ganglia of rats in the sham operation group. Rats in the model group showed hemorrhage foci after the 1st day of modeling; the hemorrhage foci increased on the 3rd day, and the pathological structure of the brain tissue was obviously damaged; the hematoma area decreased on the 7th day. …”

The transcription factor combination MEF2 and KLF7 promotes axonal sprouting in the injured spinal cord with functional improvement and regeneration-associated gene expression
Published 2025-02-01“…Next, adeno-associated viral vectors were used to express these TF combinations in vivo in L4/L5 dorsal root ganglia to test whether they would promote regeneration in a spinal cord injury model (dorsal column lesion) in female rats. …”
