Genetic variations suggests that Takifugu rubripes, T. chinensis, and T. pseudommus are the same species with a shared gene pool
Published 2025-01-01“…These variations were screened using ENSEMBL annotation and gene ontology analysis, and their potential association with morphological differences, such as dorsal spot patterns, was evaluated using reference Takifugu specimens. Results and discussionPopulation genetic analysis of T. rubripes, T. pseudommus, and T. chinensis using the CoI and CytB genes, combined with the 15 SSR loci, revealed clustering into a single genetic group characterized by remarkably low genetic diversity (four haplotypes, with diversity values ranging from 0.0000 to 0.00065) and minimal pairwise differentiation (microsatellite-based FST values ranging from -0.0021 to 0.0075). …”

Published 2024-12-01“…Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and post-hoc Tukey’s test (α=0.05).Results: The average linear distance between the sealer and dentinal wall significantly differed among the three groups (P=0.001). Pairwise comparisons revealed that the mean distance in the AH26 group (11.99 ± 4.31 µm) was significantly higher than that in the CC sealer (7.25 ± 1.94 µm; P<0.001) and Endoseal MTA group (8.86 ± 3.33 µm; P=0.014). …”

Comparing the Effect of Different Dentin Conditioners on the Microshear Bond Strength of High Viscosity Glass Ionomer Cements to Dentin
Published 2024-11-01“…P-value<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Two-way ANOVA revealed that there was a significant interaction between the type of utilized HVGIC and the dentin conditioning agent (P< 0.001). Pairwise comparison with Tukey’s post-hoc test showed that the differences between the µSBS values of different groups was always statistically significant, except for the difference between groups Fuji + TA and Equia + PAA (P=0.155), and also Equia + TA and Equia + PAA + TA (P=0.09).Conclusion: Applying polyacrylic acid as a dentin conditioner showed superior results compared to tannic acid in terms of µSBS values and improving the dentin bond performance of the tested HVGICs.…”
