Graph compression algorithm based on a two-level index structure by Gaochao LI, Ben LI, Yuhai LU, Mengya LIU, Yanbing LIU

Published 2018-06-01
“…The demand for the analysis and application of graph data in various fields is increasing day by day.The management of large-scale graph data with complicated structure and high degree of coupling faces two challenges:one is querying speed too slow, the other is space consumption too large.Facing the problems of long query time and large space occupation in graph data management,a two-level index compression algorithm named GComIdx for graph data was proposed.GComIdx algorithm used the ordered Key-Value structure to store the associated nodes and edges as closely as possible, and constructed two-level index and hash node index for efficient attribute query and neighbor query.Furthermore,GComIdx algorithm used a graph data compressed technology to compress the graph data before it directly stored in hard disk, which could effectively reduce the storing space consumption. The experimental results show that GComIdx algorithm can effectively reduce the initialization time of the graph data calculation and the disk space occupancy of the graph data storing, meanwhile, the query time is less than common graph databases and other Key-Value storage solutions.…”

On the role of soft and non-perturbative gluons in collinear parton densities and parton shower event generators by M. Mendizabal, F. Guzman, H. Jung, S. Taheri Monfared

Published 2024-12-01
“…In this approach, the Sudakov form factor can be divided into perturbative and non-perturbative components, with the non-perturbative part being analytically calculable under specific conditions. We first examine forward evolution and demonstrate that including soft and non-perturbative gluons (through the non-perturbative Sudakov form factor) is essential for the proper cancellation of divergent terms in parton density evolution. …”

Status of Water Quota for Residential Building Construction and Compilation of National Standards by BAI Le, LI Enkuan, FU Xinfeng, JIA Yifei

Published 2022-01-01
“…Considering that there is no national standard for water quota in constructing residential buildings, this paper summarizes the existing problems in water quota compilation for residential building construction in 31 provinces of China and teases out related concepts and their connotations in this regard. On this basis, the construction area and water consumption of residential buildings during the construction period are investigated, and scientific and reasonable water use boundary and measurement benchmarks are established.Given the published provincial water quota,a clustering analysis method is used to partition and classify the water consumption quota, and the water quota is calculated by empirical and statistical methods.Combined with the requirements of the current water-saving policy and the actual water use,the water quota value is finally determined. The results show that the standard rate of the provincial water quota is12.5%~40.0%.This quota takes into account the actual water use and water-saving potential of residential building construction at this stage and can measure the water-saving level in the future period. The water quota is reasonable, scientific, and advanced, which can be used in the application and approval of temporary water use for residential building construction,as well as water-saving management such as the management of planned water use.In this way,the standard system of the water quota in China is further improved.…”

Evaluation of Water Resources Carrying Capacity in Jiangxi Based on System Dynamics Model by SONG Shiqiang, FENG Qian, WANG Pinggen, TANG Guohao, XIONG Xiahui, JI Yong

Published 2023-01-01
“…To study the current situation of water resources carrying capacity and alleviate the water supply pressure in Jiangxi Province, this paper constructed an evaluation index system of water resources carrying capacity, taking into account the characteristics of water resources in Jiangxi Province.Further,a system dynamics model of water resources carrying capacity was built with historical data, and four development scenarios were designed, under which the variations of various index parameters were obtained through model simulation. The weight of each index was determined by the analytic hierarchy process, and the change of water resources carrying capacity was calculated under each scenario. The following findings are obtained.① Under the current development scenario, the water resources carrying capacity of Jiangxi Province is in a state of slightly overloading.② Under the rapid development scenario, the overload of the water resources carrying capacity in Jiangxi Province becomes more serious.③ Under the water saving & pollution control and comprehensive development scenarios, the water resources carrying capacity tend to be both improved, and the improvement degree is higher under the latter scenario. The comprehensive development scenario is found to be the optimal development scenario which accords with the sustainable development of Jiangxi Province. This study can provide reference and an evaluation basis for water resources management planning in Jiangxi Province.…”

Encounter Risk Analysis of Rainfall and Tide in Shenzhen Based on Copula Function by SHI Yunyun, YAO Hangbin, WAN Donghui, ZHENG Xinqian

Published 2021-01-01
“…The disasters of encounter of extreme rainstorm and high tide level will aggravate the flood in coastal cities. In order to explore the impact of the encounter of rainstorm and tide on flood control and drainage in coastal cities, based on the annual maximum 1 day rainfall and its corresponding tide level data of Chiwan Station in Shenzhen from 1967 to 2018,the Copula function is used to construct a joint distribution model of annual maximum 1 day rainfall and its corresponding tide level, and the co-occurrence risk, the flood control risk, the condition risk and the combination risk of rain and tide in Shenzhen are calculated and analyzed. The results show that the risk of the encounter of rain and tide in Shenzhen is small, and the co-occurrence and combination risk probability of rainfall whose return period greater than 100 years and tidal level whose return period greater than 200 years are only 0.12% and 0.09%.The probability of the occurrence of rainfall or tide exceeding the standard magnitude is 1.09%,and its return period is less than 100 years. When the rainfall exceeds the standard magnitude, the probability of encountering an over-standard tide level is greater, with a probability of 12.33%.At the same time, with the increase of rainfall, the risk will also increase. Therefore,in the planning and design of flood and tide prevention and drainage in cities, the focus should be on attention and prevention.…”
