Research on the Power Flux-Density at the Earth’s Surface Produced by Emissions from the Fixed Beam of NGSO Constellation System
Published 2022-03-01“…The power fl ux-density is an interference criterion for protecting terrestrial service systems from non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) constellation systems.Based on the defi nition of power fl ux density(PFD), a calculation method on the PFD produced by the emissions from the fi xed beam of NGSO constellation system was given.On the basis of describing the PFD constraint conditions of the NGSO fi xed-satellite service system given by ITU, a method for determining the limits of PFD from the NGSO constellation system was presented.Taking the Starlink system as the typical scenario, the PFD produced by telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C) beam of the Starlink system was analyzed.The results showed that the analytical results of the given method were consistent with those of the Starlink system, and the PFD of TT&C beam in the 18.55-18.6 GHz frequency band exceeded the limit given in radio regulations.Under the current ITU framework, the number of the satellite constellation is a decisive factor for the legal use of the Ka band by NGSO constellation system.…”

Published 2022-08-01“…The emergence of new network services such as immersive cloud XR and holographic communication puts forward higher requirements for network service quality.To ensure the availability of network services, the network service delay and reliability must be controlled within a certain quality of service according to the attributes and dependencies of network functions.However, the traditional network representation forms, such as bitmap and matrix, cannot cover these key network information, resulting in the information loss in the input stage of the algorithm, which leads to the deviation of the calculation results.Therefore, in order to accurately extract user needs and reflect the dynamic changes of network resources, knowledge graph was adopted to represent the network and its services, an online placement algorithm of service function chain based on knowledge graph was proposed.Based on this, a relationship alignment method based on editing distance was designed to guide the online placement of service function chains under complex dependency relationships.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the placement accuracy of service function chain by 10%~15% and reduce the average network energy consumption by about 13%.The proposed algorithm has low complexity and high timeliness.…”

Flood Risk Assessment for Zengcheng District of Guangzhou City Based on Complex Network Models
Published 2023-01-01“…Under the dual influences of climate changes and urbanization,the frequent urban flood disasters exacerbate losses caused by the flood disaster chain and pose a serious threat to the public life safety and sound development of cities.Based on the disaster data from 1980 to 2020 in the Zengcheng District of Guangzhou,this paper builds a complex network model of disaster evolution by employing heavy rain as the disaster source and conducts disaster risk analysis.The vulnerability of the disaster network is evaluated by the calculation of the network average disaster path,edge betweenness,and connectivity.Meanwhile,the correlation between disaster events is analyzed by the co-occurrence rate of the events.The results show that high-intensity and short-duration heavy rain is the source of flood disasters in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou.Damage to water conservancy facilities is a key node affecting the vulnerability of the disaster network,and inundated farmland is the main cause of significant economic losses,with house flooding caused by water on the road surface being the biggest disaster risk.The results can provide references for risk control of the flood disaster chain in Zengcheng District,Guangzhou,and related emergency management decisions.…”
