Scalable Low Power Accelerator for Sparse Recurrent Neural Network
Published 2023-12-01“…The use of edge computing devices in bank outlets for passenger flow analysis, security protection, risk prevention and control is increasingly widespread, among which the performance and power consumption of AI reasoning chips have become a very important factor in the selection of edge computing devices.Aiming at the problems of recurrent neural network, such as high power consumption, weak reasoning performance and low energy efficiency, which were caused by data dependence and low data reusability, this paper realized a sparse RNN low-power accelerator with scalable voltage by using FPGA, and verifies it on the edge design and calculation equipment.Firstly, the sparse -RNN was analyzed and the processing array was designed by network compression.Secondly, due to the unbalanced workload of sparse RNN, it introduced voltage scaling method to maintain low power consumption and high throughput.Experiments show that this method could significantly improve the RNN reasoning speed of the system and reduce the processing power consumption of the chip.…”

Landslide Susceptibility Evaluation Based on Empowerment Information Quantity Model of Game Theory
Published 2024-01-01“…In the process of employing information quantity models for landslide susceptibility zoning,given that the information quantity of influencing factors is directly added or multiplied by a single weight,without considering the main and objective weight of the factor,this paper proposes an evaluation method based on the empowerment information quantity model of game theory.First,the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is adopted to calculate the subjective weight,the objective weight is determined by the coefficient of variation method,and then the game theory principle is utilized to optimize the main and objective weight to get the combination weight.Meanwhile,the information layer of each evaluation factor is weighted and summed based on the combination weight,and the evaluation results are divided into five categories by the natural intermittent point method.Finally,by taking Shanyang County of Shaanxi Province as the research area,the proposed model is compared with the information quantity model of single weight in landslide-susceptibility zoning maps,zoning point density,and ROC curves respectively.The results show that the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method outperform traditional weighted information measurement methods.…”

Published 2018-01-01“…With the problems of complicated calculation process and lower computational efficiency in topology optimization using the traditional level set method(LSM) of heat conduction structures,parametric level set method(PLSM) is introduced into topology optimization for heat conduction structures.The compactly supported radial basis functions(CS-RBFs) are used to interpolate the initial level set function.The interpolation coefficients of CS-RBFs are proposed as the design variables,dissipation of heat transport potential capacity is adopted as the objective function,and the volume of material is used as the constraint.The topology optimization model for heat conduction structures is thus built.Because the method of moving asymptotes(MMA) is used to update the interpolation coefficients of CS-RBFs,the process of topology optimization for structures is transformed into that of updating interpolation coefficients and the optimal topology is finally obtained.Numerical examples show that the optimal results using PLSM are essentially in agreement with those of LSM optimal results,which illustrates the feasibility and validity of the proposed method.…”
