A fast block partitioning algorithm for VVC intra coding based on depthwise separable convolution
Published 2023-07-01“…The joint video exploration team (JVET) proposed versatile video coding (VVC) as a new video coding standard, and its quadtree plus multi-type tree (QTMTT) partition structure brings effective coding performance improvements.However, it brings about a sharp increase in encoding complexity, which greatly increases the encoding time.In order to solve the above problems, a fast block partitioning algorithm for VVC intra coding based on depthwise separable convolution was proposed.The pixel of coding unit (CU) was used as input, and the texture information feature of CU was extracted through depth-separable convolution.Therefore, accurate partition mode prediction was realized in the QTMT structure in VVC, and the complexity of the encoder was reduced by skipping low-probability partition modes.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm saves 18% to 48% of encoding time on the VTM 15.2, and only brings an average performance loss of 0.15%.And the additional complexity brought by the lightweight depthwise separable convolution calculation is also negligible.…”

Evolution Process and Impact Analysis of the Dam-break Flood of Baihuatan Hydropower Station Based on HEC-RAS
Published 2021-01-01“…Once the reservoir is destroyed,it will bring huge damage to peoples lives and regional economic development.This paper extracts the topographic information of the upstream and downstream of Baihuatan Hydropower Station by Google Earth and Arc-GIS,establishes a numerical analysis model of the river channel through HEC-RAS based on the 1∶1 000 topographic map of the hub,calculates and analyzes the evolution process and the scope of impact of dam-break flood under nine schemes,and clearly defines the submerged scope and transfer route.The results show that:The flow of the breach depends on the width of the breach.During the course of the dam-break flood,with the continuation of the flood into the reservoir,the peak flow of the downstream sections decreases slightly;The greater the flood into the reservoir is,the earlier the peak flow of downstream sections occurs;Guoyushe,Shihua Village,Caiyuanzi,and Anning Village will be flooded to a certain extent.The analysis results provide a scientific basis for the safe operation of power stations and emergency management of flood control,and a reference for the research of similar gate dam projects.…”

Published 2019-11-01“…In recent years,with the blind detection algorithms were proposed,more and more blind algorithms based on sampling covariance matrix were applied to spectrum sensing.The detection threshold was an approximation,and the detection performance would be affected for this algorithms.Thus,the mixed kernel function support vector machine (SVM) efficient spectrum sensing based on sampling covariance matrix was proposed.The statistics which were maximum minimum eigenvalue (MME) and covariance absolute value (CAV) of sensing signal sampling covariance matrices were used as the feature vectors of SVM and were trained to generate a spectrum sensing classifier.The advantage of this algorithm was that it needn’t calculate the detection threshold and the extraction of features reduces size of the sample set.The genetic algorithm (GA) was used to optimize the parameters of mixed kernel function SVM algorithm.The experimental results show that the proposed method has higher detection probability than MME and CAV algorithms,and has less sensing time than SVM,which has good practicability.…”
