Stochastic renormalization group and gradient flow
Published 2020-01-01“…Long-distance correlations of the effective theory are shown to approach gradient-flowed correlations, which are simpler to measure. The Markov property of the stochastic RG transformation implies an RG scaling formula which allows for the measurement of anomalous dimensions when transcribed into gradient flow expectation values.…”

Opportunistic spectrum access algorithm based on cross-layer optimization
Published 2010-01-01“…Aiming at the opportunistic spectrum access(OSA) system with periodic channel sensing, sensing activity of secondary users was modeled and analyzed with Markov process.Combining physical layer index with MAC layer index,a cross-layer performance measure termed effective transmission capacity(ETC) was introduced.Under the criterion of maximizing ETC,a cross-layer optimal OSA algorithm was proposed and the achievable average ETC of opportunistic spectrum sharing was deduced.Theoretical analysis and simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is better than single-layer optimal schemes for it provides the secondary users with higher ETC.…”

A Self-Adaptive Back-Off Algorithm Based on Collision Probability and Expiration Probability of Beacons in VANET
Published 2014-03-01“…In order to improve the broadcast reception rate in VANET, the conclusion that the relationship between collision probability and minimum contention window size and the relationship between expiration probability and minimum window size were reached by building Markov model. According to this conclusion, a minimum contention window size adjustment back-off algorithm called CEB was proposed, it is on the basis of the relative size between the number of expiration beacons and pre-set threshold. …”

Intelligent routing strategy in the Internet of things based on deep reinforcement learning
Published 2019-06-01“…At the era of the Internet of things, networking mode that connects everything would bring tremendous increase in the data volume and challenge the traditional routing protocols. The limitations of the existing routing protocols was analyzed when facing the data explosion and then the routing selection problem was re-modeled as a Markov decision process. On this basis, the deep reinforcement learning technique was utilized to choose the next-hop router for data transmission task in order to shorten the transmission path length while network congestion was avoided. The simulation results demonstrate that the congestion probability can be reduced significantly and the network throughput can be enhanced by the proposed strategy.…”
