Fondements du discours propagandiste arabe de la Grande-Bretagne au Maghreb pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale (1939-1943)
Published 2008-01-01“…It was an efficient and fearsome weapon to control the spirit of the Arab people’s opinion in general, especially that of the Maghrebians, who were often hostile to the British and French colonial policies in their regions. Certainly, radio programmes were preponderant as they were easily accessible but newspapers and leaflets were also used a lot in this psychological war. …”

Heterogeneous Wireless Network Resource Management Algorithm Based on Reinforcement Learning
Published 2015-08-01“…In order to make full use of the resources of all kinds of wireless network, the integration of heterogeneous network is necessary. However, when it comes to the heterogeneous network integration, the problems of call request access control and resource management emerge.A reinforcement-learning-based algorithm was presented for heterogeneous wireless network resource management.D2D (device-to-device)communication was introduced into the proposed algorithm and the appropriate network for access could be selected according to different traffic types, terminal mobility, network load status and so on.Meanwhile,to reduce the storage requirement, the neural network technology was used to solve the problem of continuous state space.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has an efficient learning ability to achieve autonomous radio resource management, which effectively improves the spectrum utility and reduces the blocking probability.…”

Cyclostationary Feature Detection Based on Compressed Sensing and Wavelet De-Noising
Published 2015-08-01“…To improve the vacant spectrum utilization,ultra-wideband spectrum sensing is critical for cognitive radio (CR)as it enables secondary users to dynamically access the unoccupied spectrum bands. However, the fast and accurate spectrum sensing is still a challenge over an ultra-wide bandwidth in low signal to noise ratio(SNR) environment.A compressed sensing (CS)-feature detector based on wavelet de-noising was proposed to perform wideband detection in low SNR.CS was proposed to improve the efficiency of wideband spectrum sensing. And two dimensional wavelet transform was introduced to deal with the noise in spectral coherence function(SCF)by the CS process. As a result, the detection accuracy in low SNR was improved. It is found that the proposed technology can detect spectrum holes at a range of low SNR through simulation results.…”

A secure authentication method based on hash function for RFID system
Published 2017-06-01“…Limited by the tag chip resource of a radio-frequency identification (RFID) system, the data and information security has been an important issue of an RFID system. The one-way Hash function provides an efficient and reliable approach for the identification and authentication of the RFID system.Based on the analysis of several typical Hash authentication protocols,a novel secure authentication protocol based on the Hash function was proposed. The protocol was intended to tackle the identification among the handheld RFID reader, tags and server.Specifically, the protocol utilizes the Hash function to achieve the mutual authentication between the above three objects. The performance analysis shows that the proposed protocol can resist the most known attacks with reduced storage capacity and lower computation overhead. Therefore, the proposed strategy effectively ensures the data and privacy security of the RFID system, achieving the bidirectional anonymous authentication between the terminal and server, which is very suitable for the distributed large-scale RFID system.…”

Design and implementation of online learning assisted intelligent receiver
Published 2024-01-01“…To address the issue of reliable communication under complicated scenarios, an online learning-assisted intelligent OFDM receiver was proposed. The variations of the channel environment could be precepted by the receiver, and the optimal parameters of the receiver under the current scenario were obtained by collecting data and training online. In the channel estimation module of the OFDM system, a performance comparator based on the mean square error of noisy channel samples was designed as the indicator of channel environment variations. To accelerate the online training progress, a lightweight neural network structure was applied. The proposed method was further implemented and verified based on universal software radio peripherals. The numerical simulation and over-the-air experimental results demonstrate that the proposed receiver can perceive and adapt to new environments effectively, and outperforms existing machine learning methods in terms of receiving performance and convergence rate with a limited number of pilots.…”

Channel estimation for hybrid intelligent reflecting surface structure assisted mmWave communications
Published 2021-10-01“…When adding intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) for assist communication in millimeter wave communication, the system becomes complicated and difficult to obtain channel state information (CSI).To solve these challenges, a hybrid intelligent reflecting surface structure was adopted, that is, the IRS was composed of a large number of passive elements and the limited radio frequency (RF) chains, where the limited RF chains were used to estimate the channel between the base station/terminal and the IRS.Based on the structure, a channel estimation scheme was proposed, which was based on the limited RF chains.First, an improved multiple signal classification algorithm was used to estimate the departure angle and arrival angle of the channel at the same time, and then a complex parallel deep neural network was proposed to estimate the path gain.Through simulation and comparison between the proposed scheme and other methods, the superiority of the proposed scheme is proved.…”

Low complexity hybrid precoding method in mmWave massive MIMO system
Published 2016-09-01“…A low-complexity hybrid precoding method was proposed to design the hybrid precoding for mmWave massive MIMO system.Firstly,an initial radio frequency(RF)precoding matrix was constructed based on the singular value decomposition. Then an updated RF matrix was constructed by placing the vector which was constructed by the biggest left singular vectors of the residual matrix onto the last column of the initial RF matrix.By multiple iterations, the resultant RF precoding matrix can be obtained and the digital precoding matrix was designed based on the least square criterion.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm greatly outperforms the hybrid precoding method based on orthogonal matching pursuit(OMP)algorithm with much reduced computational complexity.Additionally, the proposed hybrid precoding method has almost the same performance as the full digital precoding method when the number of data stream is relatively less.…”
