    “…To investigate the associations between various patterns of parental absence and psychological outcomes (depression, anxiety, and stress) among middle school students, binary logistic regression analysis was performed, while the model’s goodness-of-fit was evaluated by using the Hosmer-Lemeshow test, with a p &gt; 0.05 indicating satisfactory model fit.ResultsThis cross-sectional study investigated mental health outcomes among a cohort of 8,606 middle school students, revealing notable prevalence rates of depressive symptoms (6.7%), anxiety (6.1%), and stress-related symptoms (8.1%). Multivariate analysis demonstrated that different forms of parental absence exerted substantial effects on mental health severity, with statistically significant associations for depression, anxiety, and stress (all p &lt; 0.001). …”
