Dynamic generation of superflow in a fermionic ring through phase imprinting by Ke-Ji Chen, Wei Yi, Fan Wu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…In particular, we show that, as the interaction strength increases, the azimuthal density distribution becomes less susceptible to the phase imprinting potential, leading to a smaller quantized current under the same imprinting parameters. Our results offer microscopic insights into the dynamic development of superflow in the phase-imprinting process, and are helpful for the ongoing experimental effort.…”

Green 5G ultra-dense wireless heterogeneous networks:guidelines, techniques, and challenges by Yuzhou LI, Tao JIANG, Yang CAO, Zan LI

    Published 2017-06-01
“…Ultra-dense wireless heterogeneous network (Ud-HetNet) has been recognized as one of the most promising 5G network-organization techniques to significantly improve the wireless capacity and thus solve the 1 000× data challenge faced by cellular networks. However, counter to the expected 5G vision, although benefiting from the spectrum efficiency (SE) improvement,ultra-dense network deployment significantly increases system energy consumption and thus decreases network energy efficiency (EE).The key theories and techniques for energy-efficiently deploying Ud-HetNet were investigated from two aspects of macroscopic network matching and microscopic resource aggregation by exploiting their overall network management capabilities and network diversity effects.Specifically, the overall design guidelines for green evolution were introduced firstly, and then three techniques, namely load-aware base station on/off switching, proactive caching, and interference-aware cross-network resource allocation, were proposed to improve the network EE.Open issues and challenges that need to be further explored were also discussed.…”

    Published 2022-01-01
“…The effects of cementation solution with different concentrations, particle size, and grouting batches are examined via the bender element, unconfined compressive test, and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The bender element results show that the wave speed of loose aeolian sand is 200 m/s; however, after solidification of the aeolian sand, the speed of P-wave is about 450-600 m/s and S-wave is about 350-500 m/s. …”

Numerical analysis of sodium diffusion in aluminum electrolysis cathode carbon blocks based on a microstructure multi-factor corrected model. by Chenglong Gong, Tianqi Xu, Huarong Qi, Yan Li

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Current researches on sodium penetration in electrolytic aluminum cathode carbon blocks primarily measure cathode expansion curves, showing mostly macroscopic characteristics. However, the microscopic structure is often underexplored. As a porous medium, the diffusion performance of cathode carbon blocks is closely tied to their internal pore structure. …”

Effect of Admixture on Freeze-thaw Damage of Sleeve Grouting Materials by WU Zhaoyue, ZHU Haiqing

    Published 2020-01-01
“…This paper compares the physical and mechanical properties of sleeve grouting materials with different admixtures under freeze-thaw action by means of control variable method, studies the effects of different admixtures and different contents on the apparent morphology, mass loss and strength loss of sleeve grouting materials under freeze-thaw action, and further analyzes the change of species, quantity and morphology of hydration products in freeze-thaw cycle by SEM (scanning electron microscope). The results show that:After 120 freeze-thaw cycles, the mass loss of mortar specimens with admixtures is less than 2%,which is lagged compared with the compressive strength loss;Based on the gray correlation analysis, the impact of expansion agent on the mechanical properties of mortar specimens under different freeze-thaw cycles is the lowest. However, with the addition of defoaming agent, the physical and mechanical properties of mortar specimens are more sensitive to freeze-thaw damage, and the sensitivity will increase with the increase of defoaming agent contents; From the microstructure analysis, the addition of expansion agent can improve the stability of internal C-S-H gel system after freeze-thaw action.…”
