Dual Lesions: A Diagnostic Dilemma
Published 2013-01-01“…The histopathologic features of the GOC are complex and often coincide with the features of dentigerous cyst, radicular cyst, and low-grade central mucoepidermoid carcinoma (CMEC). At times, the microscopic features are so similar to central low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma that it becomes highly impossible to distinguish the two entities even with various advanced investigations. …”

Pulmonary nocardiosis in a fat-tailed sheep
“…Grossly, the animal had multiple white, firm, and small nodules in the lung. Microscopically, the nodules consisted of foci of pyogranulomatous inflammation with the presence of macrophages, multinucleated (langhans- type) giant cells and eosinophilic amorphous material with rosette-shape configurations (Splendore-Hoeppli reaction). …”

RESEARCH ON SOLUTION METHOD OF CONTACT STIFFNESS OF CURVIC COUPLINGS CONSIDERING TOOTH SURFACE ROUGHNESS
Published 2020-01-01“…Aiming at the problem that the contact stiffness analysis method of curvic couplings can not consider the contact interface microscopic morphology,an analytical model of the contact interface stiffness was proposed.Through the stress analysis and stiffness transformation, the general model of curvic couplings contact interface stiffness was obtained, and the GW rough surface model was brought into it to obtain the specific curvic couplings contact interface stiffness formula based on the GW rough surface model. Finally, the analytical model results were compared with finite element results. The effect of surface topography on the contact stiffness of curvic couplings was obtained, and the relationship between the normal contact stiffness and the tangential contact stiffness with the preload and tangential force were obtained. The research shows that the analytical model matches well with the finite element results, which proves the rationality of the analytical model and provides a theoretical reference for the preload force and torque design of the rotors with curvic couplings.…”

RESEARCH ON STRESS AND DEFORMATION OF WR-CVT DISCONTINUOUS CONTACT STEEL ROPE UNDER TENSILE AND TORSIONAL LOADS
Published 2021-01-01“…The wear test of wire rope was carried out on the discontinuous contact steel wire rope damage test bench, and the distribution of wear marks on the worn steel wire surface was analyzed by optical microscope(OM). The results show that the equivalent stress, axial stress and axial deformation are spiral distribution along the axial direction of the wire rope; on the strand section, the equivalent stress increases gradually from the core wire to the side wire, the maximum value appears in the contact area of rope groove, the experimental results show that the steel wire surface also presents elliptical wear scar, which is consistent with the simulation results.…”
