LEGAL ADJUDICATION, MATERIAL CORECCTNESS, AND MORAL OBJECTIVITY by Jorge L. Rodríguez

    Published 2025-02-01
“…Finally, it will be argued that moral objectivism is irrelevant for strong justification of judicial decisions (which requires valid reasoning with correct premises). Metaethical scepticism does not undermine substantive moral judgments or weaken moral debate, just as metaethical objectivism does not strengthen them. …”

Integrated artificial immune system for intrusion detection by Yue-bing CHEN, Chao FENG, Quan ZHANG, Chao-jing TANG

    Published 2012-02-01
“…According to the practical requirements of intrusion detection,an integrated artificial immune system (IAIS) was proposed. The system combined dendritic cell algorithm(DCA)and negative selection algorithm(NSA).DCA was used to detect behavioral features.NSA was used to detect structural features.IAIS was validated on KDD 99 dataset.Comparisons to other approaches were made. The experimental results show that the detection performance of IAIS is comparable to classic classification algorithm.IAIS does not rely on labeled data to train detectors. It combines behavioral features and structural features to detect intrusions in real-time mode.…”

On the linkage analysis modle of the telecom companies’ investment benefit by Bing XU

    Published 2017-09-01
“…With the end of the era of high profit growth of telecom operators, the effectiveness of basic resource investment had attracted much attention. The provincial telecom operators paied more attention to the investment efficiency of their subordinate cities, and how to achieve efficient delivery of resources was the key for provincial corporate. On the basis of the traditional evaluation methods,an index linkage analysis system from the perspective of key indicators related performance was attempted to establish, starting from benchmarking with the province's average value, and a comprehensive evaluation of the investment efficiency of the city was made. The input of resources was strived to avoid into the air,and the investment efficiency of land and city was strived to maximize.…”

Convergence and the agent's point of view by Howard Nathan

    Published 2024-01-01
“…By recognizing these aims as value bearers, we can reconcile agentrelativity with the universality of desirability, preserving Smith's broader metaethical commitments. The proposal avoids the pitfalls of agent-relative value theories and illuminates the role of perspective-dependent aims in systematic justification.…”

Optimization of power optical transmission network based on photo-electronic hybrid cross-connection technology by Yang ZHAO, Wei SONG, Chengyu DUAN, Fang SHEN, Xiaohong ZHANG, Jihua ZHAO

    Published 2021-12-01
“…A preliminary analysis to the current situation of the power grid optical transmission network was made. The power grid optical transmission network is facing huge challenges such as the increasing transmission capacity, the increasingly complex topology, the flexible scheduling of services and the evolution of network intelligence.By adopting photoelectric layered cross processing, electric layer cross focus on small particles business convergence and long distance electric regeneration, optical layer routing provides the flexible wavelength routing, based on colorless, directionless, and contention less flexible grid configurable add/drop architecture CDC-F ROADM technology to optimize network structure, improve the network transmission efficiency, reducing energy consumption and space, which also benefits the evolution of network intelligence, and greatly save the construction and operational costs.…”

Establishment and performance analysis of RIS-assisted coded relay cooperation system based on LDPC product codes by Shunwai ZHANG, Jin WANG

    Published 2023-11-01
“…To pursue the ultra-reliable information transmission, the system which combined the reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) technology and coded relay cooperation technology was investigated. The RIS-assisted coded relay cooperation system model based on low density parity check (LDPC) product codes was established.Based on LDPC product codes, the information matrix was row-encoded by the source node and column-encoded by the relay node, respectively. An efficient joint iterative decoding algorithm was proposed. The two received signals at the destination were row-decoded and column-decoded iteratively to update the logarithmic likelihood ratios of information bits, and then the decoding decision was made. The closed-form solutions of the outage probability and the channel capacity with finite codelength were theoretically derived.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed system obviously outperforms the traditional coded relay cooperation. The more number of RIS elements, the more significant advantage can be obtained.Simulation results also demonstrate that the channel capacity with finite codelength approaches the ideal channel capacity with the codelength of LDPC product codes increasing.…”

    Published 2013-01-01
