Study on Sustainable Utilization of Water Resources i n Karst Regions of Guangxi by GUANG Yao_hua

    Published 2001-01-01
“…Guangxi is characterized by uneven distribution of water resources in time and space, serious flood and waterlogging, fragile ge ologic environment in karst regions, soil erosion and wide spreading of rock dese rts.I n supply and demands of water resources problems lie in insufficient storage cap acity, water pollution and poor management of water resources. It is concluded tha t all karst regions in Guangxi fall short of water in varying degrees except for those situated in northeast Guangxi. For developing water resources in karst reg ions in Guangxi the author puts forward the following measures:exploiting modera tely karst water to increase the ratio of ground water in water resources deve l opment;storing rationally both surface and ground water to enhance active capaci ty;overdrawing artificially the shallow karst water and recharging;exploiting ka rst rivers;buliding rain collection tanks;speeding up construction of large hyd r aulic and hydropower projects;building headwater forest areas;spreading water sa ving farming;strengthening protection and management of water resources environm ent and relocating extremely poor population inhabited in karst regions. The auth or also introduces briefly the optimum regional allocation of water resources.…”

Performance analysis of dual non-orthogonal multiple access technology in the Internet of things by Dongbo LI, Min JIA, Qing GUO, Xuemai GU, Xiaofeng LIU

    Published 2019-03-01
“…With the rapid development of many technologies such as smart city, artificial intelligence and edge computing, the future Internet of things will face the problems of massive terminal access and spectrum resource constraints.A dual non-orthogonal multiple access (D-NOMA) technology based on high spectral efficiency secure access (HSESA) was proposed, which combined non-orthogonal access in the code domain and non-orthogonal multiplexing in the frequency domain, and had good spectral efficiency performance. The sender and receiver were optimized, and multiple users were mapped directly to the overlapping subcarriers through the sparse codebook. The performance analysis under the Rician channel shows that D-NOMA has better bit error rate performance than HSESA.…”
