Requirements-oriented spectrum sharing for OFDMA cognitive radio networks
Published 2015-08-01“…Considering the satisfaction of the secondary network communication requirements,a two-stage model was proposed to address the spectrum leasing and allocation problem in OFDMA cognitive radio networks(CRN).At the first stage of the model,the secondary base station(SBS)collected channel capacity requirements of the secondary network,and rent the spectrum resource from multiple primary base stations(PBS).The trade behaviors between the PBS and the SBS were modeled with a Bertrand game,and adopted the Nash equilibrium as the pricing scheme.At the second stage,with the Nash bargaining solution(NBS),the subcarriers and power allocation problem were defined as a nonlinear programming problem,and obtained the solution by Lagrange multiplier method.Comparing with the other spectrum allocation schemes,simulation results show the proposed spectrum sharing scheme can satisfy each secondary user’s communication requirements more fairly and efficiently.…”

Distributed robust beamforming algorithm for spectral coexistence in satellite and high altitude platform networks
Published 2023-12-01“…A distributed robust beamforming (BF) algorithm was proposed to improve spectrum efficiency for an integrated satellite and high altitude platform (HAP) network.Specifically, for the scenario where satellite network and HAP network adopted multicast and NOMA to serve their respective multiple users, an optimization problem was formulated to maximize the sum rate, subject to the rate requirements of both satellite and aerial terminals, and the transmit power budget of satellite and aerial platforms.Then, by considering both the imperfect channel state information (CSI) and the imperfect successive interference cancellation (SIC), S-procedure and sequential convex approximation were adopted to transform the nonconvex problem, and then a distributed BF algorithm using Lagrange duality was proposed to enable the spectral coexistence.Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve a similar performance yet at a lower signaling overhead compared with the other existing works.…”

Optimization model and heuristic solution method for multi-channel cooperative sensing in cognitive radio networks
Published 2011-11-01“…An optimization model under the scenario where multi-channels are cooperatively sensed and used by multi-secondary users (SU) was proposed.The model aims to maximize the system throughput and optimizes the parameters including the sensing time and the weight coefficient of the sampling result of each SU for each channel,meanwhile the false access probability for each channel must not violate the given constraints.To solve this non-linear optimization model,a sequential parameters optimization method(SPO)was proposed.The method begins with deriving the lower bound of the objective function of the optimization model.Then it maximizes this lower bound by optimizing the weight coefficients through solving a series of sub-optimal problems using Lagrange method,and finally finding an optimized sensing time parameter by the golden search algorithm.Extensive experiments by simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the advantage of the proposed model on improving the system throughput.…”

Joint optimization of power and channel access in cognitive radio network
Published 2017-02-01“…In cognitive radio networks,according to the problem of all users can access the same channel to communicate,two joint optimization schemes for different scenarios were proposed.When the system is infeasible,a scheme of joint optimal power and admission control was proposed.As admission control is the NP problem,the LP-SO was used to achieve optimize control.At the same time,the convergence of the proposed algorithm was analyzed and proved.When the system is feasible,a scheme of joint optimal power and transmission rate allocation was proposed,using the improved Lagrange duality algorithm to achieve optimize control.The numerical results show that compared with other admission control algorithms,the time complexity of proposed algorithm is increased,but it can converge quickly,effectively improves the number of admitted uses while reducing power consumption.In addition,the proposed algorithm can allocate transmission rate more fairly.…”
