Chronic cannabis use differentially modulates neural oscillations serving the manipulate versus maintain components of working memory processing
Published 2025-02-01“…Interestingly, during the maintenance phase, there was a group-by-condition interaction in the right inferior frontal gyrus, left prefrontal, parietal, and other regions, such that cannabis users exhibited weaker alpha and beta oscillations relative to nonusers during maintain trials. Additionally, chronic cannabis users exhibited stronger alpha and beta maintenance responses in these same brain regions and prolonged reaction times during manipulate relative to maintain trials, while no such differences were found in nonusers. …”

Prognostic Role of Monocytic Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells in Advanced Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer: Relation to Different Hematologic Indices
Published 2021-01-01“…Mo-MDSCs represent one of the key mechanisms in the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) to play major roles not only in the carcinogenesis of lung cancer but also in disease progression and prognosis and, in addition, predict the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors; our results provided some support to target Mo-MDSCs and needed to be augmented by further studies.…”

Development of Cross-Sector Collaboration Indicators for Accelerating the Reduction of Stunting in South Sulawesi, Indonesia
Published 2024-11-01“…Conclusion: As recognized by experts, the theory of cross-sector collaboration has been further advanced by the cross-sector collaboration indicators generated in this study. Additionally, these indicators, which were based on five dimensions of collaboration, may be used to assess cross-sector performance for the Stunting Acceleration Program in Indonesia. …”

Tracking the correlation of mineral intakes among family pairs over nine years: a longitudinal study
Published 2025-01-01“…Our first analysis was conducted on adults (n = 748) who had four complete dietary and familial data on the third to sixth surveys of the Tehran Lipid and Glucose Study. In addition, we assessed respectively the 3-year, 6-year, and 9-year changes in mineral correlations among populations with n = 1773, n = 1672, and n = 1352 samples with two mineral intake measurements. …”

The Influence of Artificial Breast Volume Induction on Postural Stability, Postural Orientation, and Neuromuscular Control in Healthy Women: A Cross-Sectional Study
Published 2025-01-01“…Subjective perceptions of effort, comfort, weight, and performance in the FRT were also assessed. (3) Results: Statistical differences were significant in the scapular elevator during the one-minute standing position (lower activation with the 220 mL implant compared to the control and 315 mL) and in the trapezius muscles during the FRT (lower activation in the upper trapezius in the 315 mL vs. control in the reach phase and 220 mL vs. control in the return phase and higher activation in the lower trapezius in the 315 and 365 mL vs. control in the reach phase). Additionally, significant differences were identified in the performance of the FRT and the associated subjective perceptions. (4) Conclusions: Breast implants with sizes of 220, 315, and 365 mL can alter scapular neuromuscular control, but these differences do not seem substantial enough to result in negative biomechanical effects in the short-term analysis.…”

Polymorphisms in immunosuppression-related genes are associated with AML
Published 2025-02-01“…We then analyzed the relationship between these SNPs and AML susceptibility, treatment response, and prognosis.ResultsOur findings indicated that rs4883263 in the CD163 gene is a protective factor for AML susceptibility and chromosomal karyotype abnormalities. Additionally, rs4883263 in CD163 was related to low PLT count at diagnosis, while rs2272022 in CD200 was protective against low PLT count. rs4780335 in CIITA was associated with high WBC count at diagnosis and worse OS. …”

Effects of soil management strategies based on different principles on soil microbial communities and the outcomes for plant health
Published 2025-02-01“…Taken together, our results reveal that physicochemical (CF and HE) and biological strategies (RSD) contribute to plant health via different mechanisms. In addition, this study provides empirical evidence for the significant impact of biological management on the manipulation of the core microbiome and its critical role in plant health.…”
