Studying flame-retardancy, smoke and toxicity of fiber-reinforced composites manufactured via modified resins and metallic coatings
Published 2025-03-01“…Thermal stability, flammability, and smoke production characteristics were evaluated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), thermomechanical analysis (TMA), UL94 vertical flame test, and standardized smoke and toxicity tests. The addition of 9,10-dihydro-9-oxo-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO) and Cu film surface coating led to superior smoke suppression with negligible smoke production (maximum Ds of 0–4, VOF4 of 1 at 180–240 s), whereas unmodified composites showed significant smoke development (maximum Ds of 759 at 240 s, VOF4 of 1157). …”

Association of The MCP-1 rs1024611 Polymorphism with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in A Population of Indian Women: A Case-Control Study
Published 2025-01-01“…Since no study was reported from the Indian population, we aimed to explore theassociation of the MCP-1 -2518A/G polymorphism (rs1024611) with PCOS.Materials and Methods: In this case-control study, to analyse the distribution and association of rs1024611 with PCOS,polymerase chain reaction-fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis was carried out in 202 patients whoexhibited PCOS from menarche onwards or with higher severity of symptoms and 122 age-matched controls. Results: In our study, no significant correlation was observed in rs1024611 polymorphism with PCOS patients incomparison with control. In addition to this, we found no significant difference in the genotype and allele frequenciesbetween obese and non-obese PCOS patients. Conclusion: Our finding suggests that the MCP-1 -2518 A/G polymorphism has not been associated with PCOSpredisposition.…”

Melatonin Reverses the Loss of Stemness Induced by TNF-α in Human Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells through Upregulation of YAP Expression
Published 2019-01-01“…Meanwhile, a detailed analysis of the molecular mechanisms showed that the melatonin receptor and YAP signaling pathway are closely related to the role that melatonin plays in negative inflammatory effects against BMMSCs. In addition, in vivo experiments showed that melatonin could reverse the damage caused by TNF-α on bone regeneration by BMMSCs in nude mice. …”

Chloroplast Vesiculation and Induced Chloroplast Vesiculation and Senescence‐Associated Gene 12 Expression During Tomato Flower Pedicel Abscission
Published 2025-01-01“…Ethylene signaling appears to be involved in the regulation of these processes, as treatment with a competitive inhibitor of ethylene action, 1‐methylcyclopropene, delayed vesiculation, reduced the expression of SAG12, and increased expression of Curvature Thylakoid 1A (CURT1A). In addition, chloroplast vesiculation during abscission was associated with differential expression of photosynthesis‐related genes, particularly those involved in light reactions, underscoring the possible functional impact of the observed structural changes. …”
