Halofuginone prevents inflammation and proliferation of high-altitude pulmonary hypertension by inhibiting the TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway
Published 2025-01-01“…We further detected the expression levels of inflammatory factors interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and proliferative/antiproliferative indicators proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (CDK6), Cyclin D1, p21 in lung tissue, and found that HF could attenuate the lung tissue inflammatory response and proliferative response in HAPH rats. In addition, we also examined the expression levels of transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), Smad2/3 and p-Smad2/3 in lung tissue, and found that HF exerted therapeutic effects by inhibiting the TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway.…”

Nystose attenuates bone loss and promotes BMSCs differentiation to osteoblasts through BMP and Wnt/β-catenin pathway in ovariectomized mice
Published 2023-03-01“…Furthermore, we found that NST increased osteogenic differentiation, inhibited adipogenic differentiation of BMSCs in vitro, and upregulated the expression of the key proteins of BMP and Wnt/β-catenin pathways. In addition, Noggin and Dickkopf-related protein-1 (DKK-1) reversed the effect of NST on osteogenic differentiation and expression of the key proteins in BMP and Wnt/β-catenin pathway. …”

Short-Term Restriction of Physical and Social Activities Effects on Brain Structure and Connectivity
Published 2024-12-01“…Results: Results showed significant GMV reductions in the right gyrus rectus and cuneus post-lockdown, with further reductions observed four months after lifting the restrictions, affecting additional brain regions. Longitudinal FC trajectories revealed decreased connectivity between the default mode network (DMN) and sensorimotor/attention networks post-lockdown, and recovery after four months post-lifting of the lockdown. …”
