Distinctive dust weather intensities in North China resulted from two types of atmospheric circulation anomalies
Published 2025-02-01“…Previous research has primarily focused on the role of the Mongolian cyclone in influencing dust weather in NC, with less attention given to other synoptic systems. Additionally, the differences in PM<span class="inline-formula">10</span> concentrations in NC caused by different synoptic systems have not yet been quantified. …”

Applied machine learning for predicting the properties and carbon and phosphorus fate of pristine and engineered hydrochar
Published 2025-01-01“…FeCl3 impregnation increased Fe-phosphate content, while it reduced H/C and O/C ratios and hydroxyapatite P content, and therefore improved C stability and P availability in the HC-Fe as compared to HC, particularly under lower pH (4), temperature of 220 ℃, and at 120 min. The generalized additive ML model outperformed the other models for predicting the HC properties with a correlation coefficient of 0.86. …”

Experimental Validation of Antiobesogenic and Osteoprotective Efficacy of Ginsenoside CK via Targeting Lipid and Atherosclerosis Pathways
Published 2024-12-01“…Using 3T3-L1 adipocytes in vitro assessments, CK could effectively decrease intracellular lipid accumulation, inhibit α-glucosidase enzyme, increase 2-NBDG glucose uptake, reduce inflammation-associated cytokines (<i>TNFα</i>, and <i>IL-6</i>), adipogenic regulatory genes (<i>PPARγ</i>, <i>FAS</i>, <i>C/EBPα</i>), lipogenic gene <i>LPL</i>, and increase the expression of thermogenic gene <i>UCP1</i>. Additionally, CK treatment induced osteoblast development in MC3T3-E1 cells as shown by increased mineralization and calcium distribution, collagen content, alkaline phosphatase activity, and decreased inflammatory cytokines <i>TNFα</i>, and <i>IL-6</i> and increased the regulated expressions of osteogenic genes including <i>Runx2</i>, <i>ALP</i>, <i>BGLAP</i>, <i>OCN</i>, and <i>Col1a1</i>. …”

Knowledge, attitudes and practices of intensive care unit physicians towards the management of acute respiratory distress syndrome in China: a cross-sectional survey
Published 2025-01-01“…Pearson correlation analysis showed positive correlations between knowledge and attitude (0.367), knowledge and practice (0.582) and attitude and practice (0.314) (all p<0.001).Results Mediation analysis indicated that attitude (β=0.07, p<0.001) and hospital type (β=−0.84, p=0.005) had direct effects on practice, while knowledge had significant direct (β=0.68, p<0.001) and indirect (β=0.03, p=0.019) effects. Additionally, education (β=0.47, p<0.001), work experience (β=0.25, p<0.001), hospital classification (β=−0.91, p<0.001), ICU type (β=−0.61, p=0.001) and ARDS experience (β=−1.57, p<0.001) showed various indirect effects on practice. Conclusions ICU physicians in China exhibited inadequate knowledge, moderate attitudes and suboptimal practices regarding ARDS management. …”
