Power Allocation Technology of Long Time Multi-Star Hopping Beam for LEO Satellite by Ziyi LIU, Xiaoning ZHANG, Zesong FEI

    Published 2023-12-01
“…LEO satellites have superior development prospects due to their low cost, low latency and small path loss, and are widely used in IoT, B5G and other fields. For the LEO satellite and its coverage area will be in a moving state, a convex optimization-based long-time multi-star beam hopping power allocation algorithm was proposed to maximize the system capacity.Focused on the multi-star hopping beam scenario over a period of time, a system model was developed based on the long-time co-orbital multi-star hopping beam scenario and the long-time heterodyne multi-star hopping beam scenario respectively. The resource allocation algorithm was designed for the two long-time multi-star hopping beams with the weighted objective function as the optimization objective, considered the influence factors of inter-star interference, load balancing and inter-star resource allocation priority, a long-time skipping beam resource allocation algorithm based on convex optimization was proposed. The simulation results showed that the proposed scheme could improve the resource utilization of the system compared with the conventional schemes.…”

Intelligent Planning Framework for Star-Walk Mission Based on Multimodal Observation Requirements Information by Guangxi ZHU, Gang WANG, Chao ZHANG, Yingte CHAI, Wei FU, Zhengqiang GUO

    Published 2022-09-01
“…Combined with the current requirement and research for rapid intelligent planning of star-walk observation mission, and a framework based on multimodal observation requirements such as voice and text was designed. The framework aimed to satisfied the requirements and focued on breaking through three key issues for future emergency rescue applications: multimodal requirement interpretation, full-elements resource coordination and complex emergency missions planning, and to open the automatic link between observation requirement, resource planning and mission planning by making full use of deep learning methods. On these bases, the framework had the ability to provided rapid remote sensing observation information with a specified time and made full play to the comprehensive eff ectiveness of remote sensing information resources.…”

Metallicity and α-abundance for 48 Million Stars in Low-extinction Regions in the Milky Way by Kohei Hattori

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Because the training data is dominated by giants, our estimation is most reliable for giants. The high-[ α /M] stars and low-[ α /M] stars selected by our ([M/H], [ α /M]) show different kinematical properties for giants and low-temperature dwarfs. …”

Phase-transition-induced Collapse of Proto-compact Stars and Its Implication for Supernova Explosions by Xu-Run Huang, Shuai Zha, Ming-chung Chu, Evan P. O’Connor, Lie-Wen Chen

    Published 2025-01-01
“…However, both success and failure have occurred in previous attempts to explode dying stars via this mechanism. We systematically explore the outcomes of the PT-induced collapse of mock proto-compact stars (PCSs) with a constant entropy and lepton fraction, with spherically symmetric general relativistic hydrodynamic simulations and a controlled series of hybrid equations of state. …”
