Multiplicity and Rapidity Dependent Study of (Multi)-strange Hadrons in d+Au collisions using the STAR detector by Aggarwal Ishu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…We present new measurements of (multi-)strange hadrons (KS0, Λ, Ξ and Ω), Λ, Ξ and Ω) in d+Au collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV, collected by STAR in 2016. We report the multiplicity and rapidity dependence of strange hadron transverse momentum (pT) spectra, pT-integrated yields dN/dy, average transverse momentum (<pT>), yield ratios of these strange hadrons to pions, nuclear modification factors and rapidity asymmetry for these particles in d +Au collisions.…”

Finite-Horizon Robust Kalman Filter for Uncertain Attitude Estimation System with Star Sensor Measurement Delays by Hua-Ming Qian, Wei Huang, Biao Liu

    Published 2014-01-01
“…This paper addresses the robust Kalman filtering problem for uncertain attitude estimation system with star sensor measurement delays. Combined with the misalignment errors and scale factor errors of gyros in the process model and the misalignment errors of star sensors in the measurement model, the uncertain attitude estimation model can be established, which indicates that uncertainties not only appear in the state and output matrices but also affect the statistic of the process noise. …”

Star−Disk Collisions: Implications for Quasi-periodic Eruptions and Other Transients near Supermassive Black Holes by Philippe Z. Yao, Eliot Quataert, Yan-Fei Jiang, Wenbin Lu, Christopher J. White

    Published 2024-01-01
“…We use Athena++ to study the hydrodynamics of repeated star−accretion disk collisions close to supermassive black holes, and we discuss their implications for the origin of quasi-periodic eruptions (QPEs) and other repeating nuclear transients. …”

Eigenvalue Spectrum and Synchronizability of Two Types of Double-Layer Star-Ring Networks with Hybrid Directional Coupling by Feimei Yang, Zhen Jia, Yang Deng

    Published 2021-01-01
“…In this study, we studied the eigenvalue spectrum and synchronizability of two types of double-layer hybrid directionally coupled star-ring networks, namely, the double-layer star-ring networks with the leaf node pointing to the hub node (Network I) and the double-layer star-ring networks with the hub node pointing to the leaf node (Network II). …”
