Targeted sequencing analysis pipeline for species identification of human pathogenic fungi using long-read nanopore sequencing
Published 2023-09-01“…Comparing various methods to generate the consensus sequence for fungal species identification, the results from this study indicate that read clustering using a modified version of the NanoCLUST pipeline is more sensitive than Canu or VSEARCH, as it classified species accurately with a lower abundance cluster of reads (3% abundance compared to 10% with VSEARCH). …”

Analysis of regional photovoltaic power generation suitability in China using multi-source data
Published 2025-01-01“…In contrast, southeastern coastal and southern provinces such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Fujian exhibited lower suitability scores (<3.5) and annual average generation of less than 19.2262 KWh, primarily due to limited land availability and reduced solar radiation.DiscussionThe findings emphasize the critical need to prioritize photovoltaic development in Northwest China, where favorable conditions offer considerable potential for large-scale photovoltaic generation. …”

A randomized controlled trial to study the efficacy of 1% vs. 2% lignocaine in topical airway anesthesia in routine bronchoscopy procedures
Published 2025-02-01“…Conclusions One percent of lignocaine was found to be as effective as 2% lignocaine for topical anesthesia during routine flexible bronchoscopy procedures, and it was achieved at a significantly lower dose of lignocaine in the 1% arm. So, in flexible bronchoscopy, we suggest 1% lignocaine as the preferred topical airway anesthetic agent over 2% lignocaine.…”

Comparison of ZnS(Ag) Scintillator and Proportional Counter Tube for Alpha Detection in Thin-Layer Chromatography
Published 2024-12-01“…(1) <b>Background</b>: Targeted alpha therapy is an emerging field in nuclear medicine driven by two advantages: overcoming resistance in cancer-suffering patients to beta therapies and the practical application of lower activities of 212Pb- and 225Ac-labelled peptides to achieve the same doses compared to beta therapy due to the highly cytotoxic nature of alpha particles. …”

Quantitative Evaluation of Top Coal Caving Methods at the Working Face of Extra-Thick Coal Seams Based on the Random Medium Theory
Published 2021-01-01“…The results show the following: (1) The coal-rock settlement and the caving body demonstrate clear axial symmetrical features along the working face; the size of the caving body increases as the caving height grows and its shape turns progressively from semicircular to semielliptical with a lower foot of the coal-rock settlement. (2) The caving interval is derived using the sum of the radii of the coal-rock settlement curves formed by the two largest caving bodies. (3) The symmetrical caving approach provides a symmetrical space for the subsequent movement of the broken top coal, which enables a uniform development of the caving body. (4) Compared with the traditional sequential coal caving method with the same number of supports, the interval symmetrical caving method results in a 21.7% of coal production increase, 17% caving rate promotion, and a shortened caving time by 23.4%. (5) The interval symmetrical caving method is found to improve the controllability of the caving process at the fully mechanized top coal caving working face. …”
