Study on Water Erosion Intensity of Soil Slop in Reservoirs under Protection of Tela Anchor Pad
Published 2020-01-01“…The water and soil loss in the hydro-fluctuation belt of the Three Gorges Reservoir has serious adverse effects on the navigation of channel, the stability of reservoir bank and the ecological environment. In view of the problems arisen, this paper proposes a new ecological restoration technology, the Tela anchor pad ecological restoration technology. As an emerging method of slope protection, the Tela anchor pad technology lacks experimental data support in terms of resistance to water erosion before vegetation growth. Therefore, the scouring model test for the slope protection of Tela anchor pad was carried out indoors. The test results show that when the water flow velocity is less than 1.7 m/s,the erosion intensity of the Tela anchor pad is reduced by 91.5% on average compared with the bare slope.…”

Experimental Study of Hydrogasification of Lignite and Subbituminous Coal Chars
Published 2015-01-01“…A hydrogasification reaction of chars produced from two rank coals was investigated at temperatures up to 1173 K, pressures up to 8 MPa, and the gas flow rates of 0.5–5 dmn3/min. Reactivity of the “Szczerców” lignite char was found to be slightly higher than that of the subbituminous “Janina” coal char produced under the same conditions. …”

Une pompe hydraulique romaine en bois en contexte d’incendie à Reims/Durocortorum
Published 2023-12-01“…The device had a handling system allowing it to be lowered into the shaft. Archaeological observations suggest that this device was not only used to manipulate it during its installation or its removal from the well, but also, a priori, to suspend it during use.In the configuration in which it was found, the cylinder capacity of the Reims pump is evaluated at 1858.24 cm3, its potential flow rate at 22.3 litres per minute, with a pumping rate of 15 revolutions per minute and 66.9 litres per minute, with a higher rate of 45 revolutions per minute. …”
