Prediction of end-point phosphorus content of molten steel in BOF with machine learning models by Kang Y., Ren M.-M., Zhao J.-X., Yang L.-B., Zhang Z.-K., Wang Z., Cao G.

    Published 2024-01-01
“…The results showed that compared with linear regression and neural network regression model, two types of ensemble tree model have higher prediction accuracy, better stability with small data sets, and lower data preprocessing requirements. The factors influencing the end-point phosphorus (P) content in BOF were ranked in order of importance as: Tapping temperature > Turning down times > Steel scrap quantity> Operation habits of different working groups > Amount of oxygen injection> Sulfur and phosphorus content of molten iron > Addition amount of lime, limestone, and lightly burnt dolomite in the slag > Slag-splashing amount.…”

Sir2 and Fun30 regulate ribosomal DNA replication timing via MCM helicase positioning and nucleosome occupancy by Carmina Lichauco, Eric J Foss, Tonibelle Gatbonton-Schwager, Nelson F Athow, Brandon Lofts, Robin Acob, Erin Taylor, James J Marquez, Uyen Lao, Shawna Miles, Antonio Bedalov

    Published 2025-01-01
“…We have previously reported that in the absence of SIR2, a de-repressed RNA PolII repositions MCM replicative helicases from their loading site at the ribosomal origin, where they abut well-positioned, high-occupancy nucleosomes, to an adjacent region with lower nucleosome occupancy. By developing a method that can distinguish activation of closely spaced MCM complexes, here we show that the displaced MCMs at rDNA origins have increased firing propensity compared to the nondisplaced MCMs. …”

Study on the Drive Characteristic of Roller Chain of the Large Stroke Manipulator System by Hu Yan

    Published 2015-01-01
“…In order to solve the current problem of the transmission manipulator design of high manufacturing costs and general easy occasions limitations,a new manipulator based on roller chain drive system is presented, and aiming at the roller chain drive system, through the use of multi-body dynamics theory and Lagrangian methods, the transverse vibration modal characteristics and stability of manipulator system roller chain drive is analyzed and got.The results show that,by comparing the operation characteristics of the large stroke with roller chain drive and non-roller chain drive manipulator system, the proposed model has lower manufacturing costs, and the new manipulator system solutions can better solve the limitations of using traditional manipulator problems are generally easy to use the occasion. The manipulator with roller chain drive and non-roller chain drive in the ideal trajectory operating characteristics of small differences,it is meet the general requirements for operation of the manipulator with using less precision. The chain drive transverse vibration natural frequency increase with the decreasing chain length, the drive speed has less affected on transverse vibration, the chain tension on the chain drive transverse vibration shows that the linear relationship between the natural frequency increases as the tension gradually increases.…”
